MARY HOLZER DIES AT DAUGHTER’S HOME Mrs. Mary Holzer, aged 77, passed away Saturday at the home, of her daughter, Mrs. Edwin Schreiber at School Hill, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Holzer was born near Whitelaw on Feb. 23, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Basil. She was married to Joseph Holzer on Feb. 13, 1890. He preceded her in death several years ago. She is survived by eight ehildren, namely: Alex of Kiel, Henry and Herman of St. Nazianz, Joseph of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Ed. (Rose) Hartman of New Holstein, Mrs. Josephine Loritz of Quarry, Mrs. Ed. (Martha) Schreiber of School Hill and Mrs. Philip (Mayme) Hartman of Cato. There are also 30 grandchildren and 9 great—grandchildren; a brother, Carl of Oceanside, Cal., and a sister, Francis Ernst of Milwaukee. Funeral services were held at St. Gregory’s church in St. Nazianz at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Fintan Holzknecht officiating. Burial was made in the adjoining church cemetery.
