Mrs. Martha M. Jahnke, nee Pingel, 79, passed away at the home 
in the town of Cedarburg on Tuesday, following a lingering 
illness.  Mrs. Jahnke was born Feb. 1, 1870, in the town of 
Schleswig, Manitowoc County, the daughter of John and Maria 
Zachow Pingel, and was married Feb. 11, 1902, to Otto Jahnke 
of Milwaukee, by the Rev. Denninger at Zion Lutheran church 
at Louis Corners.  Following their marriage they moved to the 
farm home on Highway 60, in the town of Cedarburg. 
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. William (Maria) Miske, on the 
homestead; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mary Rochdanz, 
and a number of nieces and nephews.  Her husband and two 
sisters, Mrs. Augusta Meyer and Miss Anna Pingel, preceded 
her in death.  
Funeral services will be held Sunday at the home and at the 
Trinity Lutheran church at Cedarburg with the Rev. Bleeke 
officiating.  Burial will be made in Cedarburg.

Theresa Holzer. Theresa Holzer was born May 16, 1868 in the Town of 
Eaton of George Holzer and Barbara Singer.  On Sept. 12, 1899 she 
married Henry Jansen.
