From Calumet county marriage records (v.3 p.184) Christian Mueller and Maria Louisa Auguste Winkel Christian Meuller b: Town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County –farmer p: Gottfried Mueller and Anna Boss m: Nov. 4, 1895 in religious ceremony, Town of Stockbridge, Calumet County to: Maria Louisa Auguste Winkel b: Town of Eaton, Manitowoc County p: Charles and Emilie Winkel ********** Christian Mueller, aged 71 years, resident of Stockbridge, passed away at the Oshkosh hospital on Friday afternoon, after a brief illness with pneumonia. Mr. Mueller has been a patient at the hospital since November 14th. The deceased was the son of the late Gottfriede and Anna Mueller, and was born on a farm four miles northeast of Kiel, in the town of Schleswig, November 2, 1862. The homestead is now owned by Hubert and Miss Emma Bunge. On November 4, 1895, he was married to Miss Mary Winkel of Stockbridge, and the couple located on a farm in that township, where they have resided ever since. To the couple was born, one son, Victor, who passed away at the age of two years. Survivors are his wife, two sisters, Mrs. Albert Fischer of Sheboygan and Miss Helena Mueller of this city; two brothers, Frank of New Holstein and John of the town of Schleswig; two half brothers, Adolph Bunge of here and Hubert Bunge of the town of Schleswig, and one half sister, Miss Emma Bunge of the town of Schleswig. Two brothers, Gottfriede and Rudolph Mueller, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at Stockbridge on Monday. The following attended the funeral; John and Miss Helen Mueller, Mrs. Adolph Bunge and son Armand, Hubert and Miss Emma Bunge, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Koever, Mr. and Mrs. Arno Mueller, Mrs. August Maurer, Mr. and Mrs. George Reichardt, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lindemann, Christian Fischerd, Mrs. Louis Kenneke and son LaVallen, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Feld, Sr., F.F.A.H. and Carl Thielke, all of Kiel and vicinity; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mueller of New Holstein, Albert Mueller of Plymouth, and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Feld of the town of Mosel.
