Decedent was born in Schleswig, July 27, 1860; he was married to Anna Perschke in 1895, and the couple settled on a farm, where he now closed his eyes in death. He leaves his widow and one son Edgar; his step-father Chr. Bunge; three brothers, Christian in the town of New Holstein, Franz of Brothertown, John in Schleswig; two sisters, Mrs. Fischer of Sheboygan and Miss Helen Mueller of Kiel; three stepchildren, Emma Bunge at home, Adolph of Kiel and Hubert of Schleswig. The funeral will take place, today, Thursday, Rev. W. Kuether officiating. Interment in the Louis Corners cemetery. (cemetery #87)

Helena Mueller Dies on Sunday Miss Helena Mueller, aged 85, who for many years resided at 915 Sixth street, this city, died Sunday evening at the home of her step-brother and step-sister Hubert and Emma Bunge. Miss Mueller had lived alone up to a few days before she died, but following a fall she was removed to the Bunge home. The deceased was a resident of Kiel for 50 years. She was born in the town of Schleswig on June 4, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Mueller. While residing here she followed the trade of a dressmaker. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Anna Fischer of Sheboygan; a brother Frank of New Holstein, a step-sister, Emma Bunge, and two step-brothers, Hubert and Adolph Bunge. Funeral services took place on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church, with the Rev. E.L. Worthman officiating. Burial was made in the Kiel cemetery. She lived alone until several days ago, when she fell and suffered injuries. She was taken to the Bunge home, where she died following a short illness. Miss Mueller, a resident of Kiel for 15 years, was born in the town of Schleswig on June 4, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Mueller. She spent many years in the town of Schleswig before moving to Kiel, where she was a dressmaker and housekeeper. The survivors include a sister, Mrs. Anna Fischer, of Sheboygan; a brother, Frank, of New Holstein; a step-sister, Miss Emma Bunge, and two step-brothers, Hubert and Adolph of Kiel. She was a member of the St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. E. L. Worthman. Burial will be made in the Kiel cemetery. Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral home from 1 p.m. Tuesday to 11 a.m. Wednesday and at the church until the time of services on Wednesday. The deceased was born in Germany, November 17, 1846, and came to this country with his parents when he was one and one-half years old. On February 27, 1870 he was united in marriage to Miss Gertrude Reineck and the couple moved onto a farm in Rhine Center. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Carl Rudolph, Mrs. Ernst Meyer, and Miss Emma at home. One daughter preceded him in death. Sic granchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the home at 1 p.m., and from the Petri church in Rhine Center. The Rev. Thomas officiating.
