Learn Of Death At Watertown
New Holstein—Many people were surprised to hear of the
death of August Tanck, who passed away at his home in
Watertown last month. Mr. Tanck will be remembered by
many of the older residents of New Holstein and vicinity,
having made his home here for a number of years. He was
employed at the Puchner store and also at the Griem store.
He was married to Miss Emma Schott of this village and
the couple resided here for about two years, Mr. Tanck
returning to Watertown shortly after the death of his wife
and infant daughter. Several years later he was married to
Mrs. Clara Otto of Watertown, who with a daughter in Kansas
City, survives him.
