Twin Sons of County School Supervisor Die at the Hospital Twin boys, born at the Holy Family hospital yesterday afternoon to County Supervising Teacher and Mrs. Joseph Rappel, died shortly after birth and were buried today. In addition to the parents, the twin boys are survived by two sisters. The Rappels live at 928 & Twenty-second street. FRED J. RAPPEL Fred J. Rappel, 77, of 1329 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon in the Intensive Care Unit of Holy Family Hospital. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 1p.m in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Revs. Theodore J. Hendricks and John Kohnke, O. Praem, will officiate and entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Mr. Rappe was born July 8, 1900, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Martin and Mary Seidel Rappel. He married Mary Logan July 18, 1923, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove, and moved to Manitowoc in 1925, residing here since. Mr. Rappel retired 10 years ago. He was a member of American Association of Retired Persons Inc., Senior Citizens, 25 year member and officer of Lake Port Credit Union and a member of Knights of Columbus Council 710. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Dorris Rappel of Manitowoc and Thomas and Bette Rappel of Newton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Eunice and John Pekarske and Dorothy and Frank Sepnieski of Manitowoc; two brothers, William of St. Nazianz and Oscar of Sheboygan, 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. MARY K. RAPPEL (d. 2001) Mary K. Rappel, age 99, a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Friday morning, Sept. 14, 2001, at St. Mary's Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2001, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M. with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. She was born June 18, 1902, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Charles J. and Mary O'Connell Logan. Mary was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School, Maple Grove and also attended Manitowoc County Normal School. Mary taught in rural schools following her graduation. On July 18, 1923, she married Fred J. Rappel at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove. He preceded her in death April 19, 1979. Mary was employed by Sigman's Curtain Shop for many years and then managed the former Gra-Mar Curtain Shop. She was an original member of the Parkview Haven Board of Directors and was a member of the St. Boniface Congregation and the Catholic Women's Club. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Dorris Rappel, Manitowoc, Thomas and Bette Rappel, Arizona; a daughter and son-in-law, Eunice and John Pekarske, Manitowoc; 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren three great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Elizabeth Schneider, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Sepnieski; three sisters and five brothers. VIRGINIA L. RASMUSSEN Virginia L. Rasmussen, age 76, a Valders resident, died Monday morning, February 13, 2012 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 25, 1935 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late William M. & Annabelle (Kostka) Tisler. Ginnie was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1953. On January 26, 1957 she married William Rasmussen at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Ginnie was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company of Manitowoc as an operator for many years and then with Copps for 20 years as a head cashier. Ginnie was also employed with Aging Resource Center in Manitowoc and St. Nazianz as their activities coordinator. Ginnie enjoyed bowling, golfing, reading, cross stitching and camping. Family was the most important thing in her life. She loved her grandchildren and always put them first. She loved to laugh and tell jokes, which she did very well. Ginnie also enjoyed her garden, flowers and blue birds. Survivors include her husband of 55 years: William Rasmussen, Valders; three daughters and sons-in-law: Linda & Michael Hackbart, Texas, Kathie & Daniel Doescher, Valders, Susan & Gregg Sielski, North Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren: Katie Hackbart, Matthew (Emily) Hackbart, Lauren (Ian) Earle, Rebekah Hackbart, Megan Doescher, Derek Doescher, Seth Sielski, Drew Sielski; three brothers and sisters-in-law: William & Nancy Tisler, Crivitz, Robert & Karen Tisler, Manitowoc, James & Linda Tisler, Johnson Creek; and two sisters-in-law: Donna & Richard Zajda, Montello and Mary Lou Rasmussen, Arizona. EDWARD E. RATHSACK Edward E. Rathsack, 78, of 5124 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon, December 12, 1990 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 11:30 am Friday, December 14 at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating the service will be Deacon William Klein with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum. He was born August 24, 1912 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, son of the late Louis and Clara Hoyer Rathsack. He married the former Marie S. Kestly, January 11, 1936, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School Class of 1930 and also attended Lawrence University. He was the owner and operator of the William Rathsack and Sons Hardware Store of Manitowoc until its closing in 1968 and was also employed with Hamilton Industries for 10 years in the Engineering Department until his retirement in 1978. He was a 39 year member of Manitowoc Elks Club and past President of the Wisconsin National Hardware Association. Survivors include his wife, Marie Rathsack of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and John Steimle of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Judy Rathsack of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren, Michael Steimle, Julie Spurney, Andrew Steimle, Eric, Christopher, Tony and Sara Rathsack; six great grandchildren, Jacob, Abbey, Magen and Max Steimle, Sam Spurney and Davide Rathsack; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. LEROY D. RATHSACK Leroy D. Rathsack, age 82, of 943 S. 39th St., Manitowoc, died on Tuesday evening, Jan. 12, 2010, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, of complications from treating his brain tumor for the last 2½ months. He died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Leroy was born on April 22, 1927, in Manitowoc, son of the late Leo and Frances (Labinski) Rathsack. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1945. Leroy served in the United States Navy during World War II. On June 25, 1949, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Poleto of Renovo, Pa., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. This past summer, Leroy and Dorothy celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their children and grandchildren. Leroy worked as a machinist for Manitowoc Engineering for 42 years, retiring in April 1989. Leroy was the rock of his family. He was always there for his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed following his grandchildren's sporting events. He was a generous, hardworking man, always willing to help when needed. Leroy enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing sheepshead with the guys on Thursday nights at Marv's. He also enjoyed playing bingo and going on bus trips to the casinos. Leroy enjoyed taking his daily walks around his neighborhood and visiting with friends along the way. He also enjoyed working on puzzles through the long winters. Leroy is a former member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He is a member of St. Francis of Assisi parish and a lifelong member of V.F.W. Otto Survivors include his wife: Dorothy Rathsack, Manitowoc; his children: Steve and Anita Rathsack, Oshkosh; Cindy and Richard Dunton, Sue Valentine and special friend Jon Luedtke, Paul and Lisa Rathsack, all of Manitowoc; grandchildren: John Rathsack, Brian Dunton and special friend Dana, Laura Dunton, Valerie and Michael Valentine, Jenna, Mitchel and Marcus Rathsack; a sister: Elaine Rathsack, Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother: Charles Rathsack, Middleton, Wis.; a brother-in-law: Charles Poleto and his wife, Peggy, Renovo, Pa.; and a sister-in-law: Angeline Borths, Charlevoix, Mich. MARIE S. RATHSACK Marie S. Rathsack, age 96, formerly of 5124 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died on Thursday morning, March 5, 2009, at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc. She was born on Sept. 27, 1912, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Andrew and Rose (Bauman) Kestly. Marie was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, class of 1930. On Jan. 11, 1936, she married Edward E. Rathsack at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1990. Marie enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, watching old movies and embroidery. She was a member of the Elks Club and St. Francis of Assisi, Manitowoc. (Survivors omitted for privacy.) She was also preceded in death by four brothers: Andrew, George, LeRoy and Jack Kestly; and two sisters: Josephine McGlynn and Lorraine Sullivan. CARL H. RAYFORD Carl H. Rayford, age 86 of 1623 Nagle Ave., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning January 14, 1996 at his residence. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 19, 1996 at Holy Innocent Catholic Church. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. David Zimmerman. Cremation will have taken place with the cremains being entombed at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum in Manitowoc. He was born July 21, 1909 in Rhinelander, Wis., son of the late Herman and Ellen Peterson Rayford. He graduated from Rhinelander High School and attended Woodbury Business College in Los Angeles, Calif. He was employed with the Wisconsin State Employment Service from 1938 until he retired in 1974. Carl was an active member of the Golden Kiwanis Club and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 710. He loved camping and canoeing, was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. He married Helen Kurtzwell November 5, 1938 in Racine. He was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church since 1951. Survivors include his wife, Helen; one son and daughter-in-law, Colin and Mary Jo Rayford, Manitowoc; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathryn Winter, Watersmeet, Mich., Judith and John Appleby, Milwaukee; three grandchildren, Michael (Patricia) Rayford, Ashland, Wis.; Brian (Lisa) Rayford, Appleton, Wis.; Michelle (Michael) Stutte, Manitowoc; five great grandchildren, Matthew and Mitchell Rayford, Appleton; Tia, Allissa and Jenna Stutte, Manitowoc. HELEN M. RAYFORD Helen Rayford, age 84, of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, formerly of 1623 Nagle Ave., Manitowoc, died Thursday, July 30, 1998, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 1998, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev. HELEN C. REED Mrs. Helen C. Reed of 3221 Tannery Rd., Two Rivers, died Wednesday, April 20, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. James Stamborski will officiate and entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Mrs. Reed was born in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Anton and Anna Nemrava Cech. She was married to Joseph Reed, who preceded her in death Dec. 23, 1980. She attended schools in Two River and moved to Phoenix, Ariz., returning to this area some years ago. JOSEPH REED Joseph Ward Reed of 3221 Tannery Road, Two Rivers, died early Tuesday morning, Dec. 23, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate. Mr. Reed was born at New York City, N.Y., son of the late Frederick Carlton Reed and Evangeline Sharpe. He attended secondary schools in Great Barrington, Mass., and then attended Northfield Mount Herman School and College in East Northfield, Mass. He lived in Hartford, Conn., for a time with an uncle and aunt, Francis and Jeanette Reed. He moved to Phoenix, Ariz., where be married Helen Catherine Cech. Mr. Reed was a painter for Reynolds Metals Company of Phoenix. The couple moved to Two Rivers in 1968. ANNA M. REHME Mrs. Anna M. Rehme, 86, a resident of Family Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc, died Saturday morning in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Philip Hoffman willofficiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mrs. Rehme, nee Anna M. Rader was born Nov. 2, 1891 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late John and Mary Tintinger Rader. She was married to Edward Rehme Oct. 10, 1911 in St. Isadore Catholic Church, Osman. The family resided in Gillett and St. Nazianz prior to settling in Manitowoc in 1939. She was a member of St. Paul Parish Women. Mr. Rehme preceded her in death July 28, 1967. Survivors include two sons, Stephen of St. Nazianz and Joseph of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Zietlow of Manitowoc and Mrs. Ervin Harping of Waco, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Theresa Miller of Fontana, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. EDWARD REHME Edward A. Rehme, 83, formerly of 2106 Clark St., Manitowoc, died Friday at Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc, where he resided a year. He was well known in the area as a well-driller, a profession he followed 65 years. Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mr. Rehme was born Oct. 6, 1883, in the Town of Newton, son of the late Herman and Henrietta Schuman Rehme. He married Anna Rader Oct. 10, 1911, at St. Isadore Church, Osman, and they lived at Gillett 11 years while he worked in sawmills and then returned to Manitowoc. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. Survivors are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Alice Zietlow of Manitowoc and Mrs. Erwin Harping of Land O'Lakes, two sons, Stephen of St. Nazianz and Joseph of Manitowoc, a brother, Otto of Clintonville, a sister, Mrs. Alvina Krumrey of Manitowoc, 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. ALFRED G. REHRAUER Alfred G. (Al) Rehrauer, 54, of 1014 Manitou St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James R. DeWitt will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mr. Rehrauer was born March 3, 1919, at Two Rivers, son of the late John Rehrauer and Mrs. Helen Wierzbach Rehrauer. He was graduated from Two Rivers High School with the Class of 1937 and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He married Arlene H. Sladky July 19, 1941, at Manitowoc. Mr. Rehrauer was owner and operator of Al’s Flower Shop of Manitowoc and a member of the F.T.D. CHARLES H. REHRAUER Charles W. Rehrauer, 76, of 906 Hancock St., Manitowoc, died Saturday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. He had a heart attack 10 days ago and had been hospitalized since. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mittnacht Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Rehrauer was born Jan. 6, 1888, at Two Rivers, son of the late George and Niquette Rehrauer. He attended St. Luke Catholic School at Two Rivers and as a young man assisted his father in operation of the Rehrauer Livery Stable at Two Rivers. Later he was a driver for the late Dr. John R. Currens and for 30 years was a driver-salesman for Socony-Mobile Co., retiring in 1953. He married Pauline Oziol at Two Rivers, Feb. 12, 1908, and the couple observed the golden anniversary of the wedding in 1958. After marriage the couple resided 12 years at Two Rivers and then moved to Manitowoc. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Boniface Parish. Rehrauer had his right foot very seriously cut last Wednesday by getting it in contact with a circular saw while at work at the pail factory. The big toe had to be amputated and the foot was split nearly up to the instep. Dr. Farrel dressed the wound and hopes to save the foot so that the lad will not be permanently lamed. JOSEPH L. REHRAUER Joseph L. Rehrauer, age 82, of 1603 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday, August 10, 1999, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 1999, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski, O.F.M., with entombment of his cremated remains at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Joseph was born on March 25, 1917, in Two Rivers, son of the late Joseph and Helen Wierzbach Rehrauer. He graduated from Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1935. Joseph served in the United States Army with the 3rd Armored Division from 1941 thru 1945, participating in the Invasion of Normandy in the European Theatre. On March 22, 1942, he married Florence Jagodinsky in El Paso, Texas. Joseph worked at National Tinsel Manufacturing Company for many years, retiring as Operations Manager in 1980. He was active in sports, including baseball and football, and was a member of the original Two Rivers Ramblers Football Team. He was a member of Eagles Aerie #706 of Manitowoc, and the Travelers Protection Association. THERESA REIF Mrs. Therese Reif, an old and well-known resident of our city, died Monday at age 80 after an illness of only a few hours. WILLIAM C. REIF William Chester Reif, age 90, of 5931 Homestead Road, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, July 26, 1995, at his residence. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm. ANN M. REINDL Anna M. Reindl, age 80, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, died on Friday morning, Jan. 4, 2008, at Shady Lane. She was born on Aug. 10, 1927, in Grimms, daughter of the late Cecil and Ida (Weber) Bennington. Anna was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, class of 1945. On Aug. 10, 1946, she married Hugh M. Reindl at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 2006. Anna was employed with Holy Family Hospital for 27 years, until her retirement in September of 1989. FRANK REINDL (d. 1938) Frank Reindl, 80, died today after a six week illness. In recent years he made his home with his son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Wilhelm, 1025 South 16th Street. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:30 am from the Pfeffer funeral home and at nine o’clock from the St. Boniface church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Reindl was born in Kellnersville in 1857 and in 1876 married Miss Mary Wall of that place. They moved to Pittsburgh, Pa., where he was employed for a time. Later he came to this city and worked for many years at the Manitowoc Seating company. He has been inactive the past few years. Mrs. Reindl died in 1925. RICHARD J. REINDL Richard J. Reindl, age 58, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Meriter Park Hospital, in Madison. He was born March 31, 1948 in Manitowoc, the son of Hugh and Ann (Bennington) Reindl. Richard graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. He worked for TDS in Madison for the previous six years. He enjoyed traveling to Branson and watching football. REV. R.J. REINDL FATHER REINDL DIES SUDDENLY OF PNEUMONIA… The community was shocked last evening by the announcement of the death of the Rev. Reinhardt J. Reindl, pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic church at Kellnersville, who passed away at the home of his parents in this city after a brief illness of less than a week. Death was due to pleuro-pneumonia. Rev. Father Reindl had been at Milwaukee and was returning to Kellnersville when he suffered an attack of stomach trouble, from which he had suffered more or less for some time, and had stopped at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Reindl, 1115 So. Fourteenth street. He had been relieved of his illness and was considering returning to Kellnersville when he suffered the attack which ended in his death. Father Reindl was born in this city Sept. 2, 1888 and attended the local schools. He was ordained to the priesthood at Green Bay April 14, 1916, and celebrated his first mass April 25, the same year, at St. Boniface church in this city. He was appointed assistant to the Rev. Steinbrecher at Kaukauna, where he remained for eighteen months, and was then assigned to the church at Carlton, Kewaunee county, and later was named to St. Joseph's church at Kellnersville upon death of Father Braun. Father Reindl was popular with the parish at Kellnersville and his death will cause deep sorrow to his parishioners and the community. Father Reindl was a graduate of St. Francis seminary and was one of the younger priests of the Green Bay diocese. Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, Joseph, and two sisters, Mrs. John Kieffer, and Miss Ira, this city. A younger brother died a year ago, a victim of flu-pneumonia which followed an operation. Funeral services will be held at St. Boniface church Wednesday morning at 9:30. Reinhardt Reindl of this city who was ordained at Green Bay last week read his first mass at St. Boniface Church on Tuesday. The ceremonies opened at 10 o’clock with the processional from the rectory to the church in the following order: Crucifer, J. Husnik; Thurifer, George Weix; Altar boys and girls; parents and relatives of the celebrant; visiting clergy; students of St. Francis Seminary; the bride, little Patricia Weix, aged 3, with attendants; master of ceremonies, the Rev. Reindl with deacons of the church as escort. The church was beautifully decorated for the event, the altar decorations being lilies and white carnations. Solemn high mass was said, followed by sermons by Rev. Z. Kaster of New London and Rev. P. Schaffer D.D. of St. Francis Seminary. Rev. A. G. Dusold of Cooperstown was deacon and Rev. M. Jaekels of this city, sub deacon and Rev. W. J. Peil, assistant. The Rev. R. M. Peil, was master of ceremonies. Following the religious services, a reception in honor of the Rev. Reindl was held at St. Boniface School hall and a banquet was served at which covers were laid for more than 200. The banquet was followed by an informal entertainment during the afternoon and evening. JENNIE REINERT Mrs. Jennie Reinert, lifelong Manitowoc County resident, died unexpectedly Monday morning of a heart attack at the home of a brother, Richard Simmer of Manitowoc Rapids, where she had resided five years. She was 74. Funeral services will be at 8:30 am Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 9 am at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Clement Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. The former Jennie Simmer was born March 17, 1881 at Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late Matthew and Margaret Lambries Simmer. She was married to Joseph Reinert in June of 1904. He died in 1917. Mrs. Reinert was employed at the Aluminum Goods Mfg. Co. at Manitowoc for 23 years, retiring in 1947. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society at St. Paul Church. NANCY REINERT Nancy Reinert, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Reinert of 821 South 23rd street, died today at Holy Family hospital following a short illness. He lived in Germany until 1951, when he returned to the United States. Bob was educated at Marquette University, Milwaukee, from where he received his degree in Mechanical Design Engineering in 1954. On March 25, 1967, he married Geraldine I. Backus in Manitowoc. He was an employee of the Manitowoc Engineering Company for 28 years from where he retired in 1986. GLEN C. REISS Glen C. Reiss, age 63, of 8823 Northeim Lane, Newton, died Thursday, July 21, 1994, at st. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan. He was a graduate of Boys Tech High School, Milwaukee, graduating with the class of 1949. Mr. Reiss served with the United States Army for 36 years retiring in 1961. He acquired 16 years of active duty and 20 years as a Military Advisor to the Army Reserve. He also served in Alaska and in Saudi Arabia as a Military Advisor to King Fisal. Mr. Reiss received many military awards for his outstanding performance of his military duties. He was also awarded membership in the military order of St. Barbara, the patron saint of Artillery Men. Mr. Reiss was also a member of the Cleveland VFW. He was a Lion member with 26 years of perfect attendance and held all offices in Lionism up to cabinet secretary treasurer in 1977-1978. He was a member of the Sheboygan Noon Lions Club, president of the Noon Lions Club, president of the Sheboygan Falls Lions Club and president of the Newton Lions Club. Mr. Reiss was the recipient of the Lions International Extension Award for starting the Newton’s Lions Club. He was a past director of the Wisconsin Lions Foundation and in 1992 Wisconsin Lions District 27B1 awarded him the highest award, the Melvin Jones Fellowship. R. PAULINE A. REITMEYER Pauline Ann Reitmeyer, passed away June 21, 2005 at Oakridge Gardens, Menasha, just one day short of her 90th birthday. She was born June 22, 1915 in the town of Carlton to Anton and Molly (Thor) Kustka. She was united in marriage to Edward J Reitmeyer on Dec. 27, 1941. Pauline belonged to the ladies of St. Paul's Church and the Catholic Women's Club in Manitowoc. She is survived by her daughter: Nancy (Karl) Bull, Appleton; two grandchildren: Jennifer (Blaine) Schmidt, Charlotte, N.C.; Michael Bull (special friend, Renetta Spitzer and her son, Dylan), Appleton; two great-grandchildren: Jacob Bull and Victoria Schmidt. ANGELA M. REZASH Angela M. Rezash, age 44, of 1410 23rd Street, Two Rivers, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at Froedert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Wauwatosa after a brief illness. Angela was born on December 14, 1967, in Fort Hood, TX, daughter of Phillip and Kathryn (Martell) Gauthier. She attended schools in Orrville OH and graduated from Orrville High School. Angela was employed at Fischer Hamilton in Two Rivers. She loved being a mom and enjoyed music and the outdoors. She is survived by one son: Marlon Rezash, Two Rivers; her parents: Phillip and Kathryn Gauthier, Denmark; one brother: Phillip Gauthier Jr., Manitowoc. Aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded by an infant brother: David Gauthier and her grandparents. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Calvary Mausoleum Chapel, 2601 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Richard Klingeisen will officiate with entombment to follow in the mausoleum. ALBIN J. REZBA Alvin J. Rezba, 77, of 723 Woodlawn Drive, Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon, June 29, 1986 at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and 11 am at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Ronald Reimer with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum. Mr. Rezba was born February 4, 1909 at Manitowoc County, son of the late John and Rose Voboril Rezba. He was a lifelong Manitowoc County resident. He married the former Marie Ruzek on September 5, 1932 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Prior to his retirement in 1972, Mr. Rezba had been employed as a Chemist at the White House Milk Company. Mr. Rezba was a member of Knights of Columbus Council Number 710 and served as Secretary-Treasurer of the St. Vincent DePaul Society of the St. Paul Parish Conference. Survivors include his wife, Marie A.; a brother, John of Neenah; a brother-in-law, Floyd Ruzek of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother, James. MARIE A. REZBA Marie A. Rezba, age 91, formerly of Woodlawn Drive, Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon, May 18, 1995, at St. Mary’s Home, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 1995, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ronald Reimer with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. She was born December 3, 1903, in Watertown, Wis., daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Hrobsky Ruzek. She moved to Manitowoc with her family in 1916. She married Albin J. Rezba September 5, 1932, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death June 29, 1986. Mrs. Rezba had been employed by the American Seating Company, Invincible Furniture, and White House Milk Company. She was also a member of St. Paul Parish Women. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Gladys Ruzek, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law, John Rezba, Neenah, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wenzel, Clarence and Gilbert, three sisters, Blanche Flavia and Emily.
