ALICE ALTENBERGER Card of Thanks. We wish to extend thanks to friends for their attendance at the funeral of our beloved daughter, Alice Altenberger, to the pallbearers, to Rev. O. Kolbe for his consoling words, for the many floral tributes, to the church choir and the organist, Miss Marcella Konz, and to the neighbors for their kind assistance at the death and burial. Mr. and Mrs. Fred. Altenberger. Death has robbed us of our Alice Whom we loved and cherished dear; It was our beloved Alice - Can we help but shed a tear? Yes, we miss her, oh we miss her When we see her vacant chair, But how sad our home's without her For there is no Alice there. The happy hours you spent with us - How sweet the memory is still, Burt death has left a lonesomeness, The world can never fill. In the graveyard softly sleeping, Where the flowers gently wave, Lies the one we loved so dearly In her lonesome, silent grave; The flowers we laid upon her May wither and decay, But the love we have for you, dear Alice, Will never, never fade away.
