Heinrick Belgum moved to CA and set up the Grande Vista Sanitorium in 1914 in 
Richmond CA, he died in  48 fighting a brush fire on his land, His brother (Barney) 
died in 1963. The land was taken over by the county and became part of the East Bay 
Regional Parks and is now the "Belgum Trail"  Here are some links to the property.
