The couple settled in Town Two Rivers where they have lived ever since. In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 sons, 3 daughters, and 2 sisters. The body was brought from Milwaukee where she died Friday at the home of her daughter Mrs. A.C. Heritschek. Mrs. Raatz was 84 years of age, 47 of which were lived in Two Rivers until the death of her husband 6 years ago when she went to reside with her daughter.

ROLAND RAATZ cemetery #33 Herald Times Reporter, Two Rivers, WI., Sat. Aug. 11, 1973 Roland Raatz, 68, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died Friday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Klein & Stangel, Inc. Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 2 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Harmon Krause officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Garden, Town of Kossuth. Mr. Raatz was born in the Town of Two Rivers April 14, 1905, a son of the late John and Theresa Johannes Raatz. He married the former Florence Lehman at Waukegan, Ill., Dec. 26, 1927. He retired in 1969 from employment at Mirro Aluminum Co. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, a son, a sister, Mrs. Walter Beth of Two Rivers, and a foster son, Richard Panzer of Green Bay, 11 grandchildren and two foster grandchildren. A daughter, sister and three grandchildren preceded him in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
CAROLINE RABE cemetery #87 Mrs. August (Caroline) Rabe, aged 68, widow of the late August C. Rabe, passed away on her birth date Friday at 1 a. m. at her farm home in the town of Schleswig, near Steinthal. Mrs. Rabe had suffered a stroke earlier in the week, and had been in ailing health for a number of years. Mrs. Rabe, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schnell was born in the town of Schleswig on February 25, 1876. She was married to August Rabe on August 20, 1898, and the couple settled on the present farm home where she passed away. Her husband preceded her in death on September 27, 1943. Survivors are the following ten children: Mrs. Frank Karstaedt of the town of Meeme, Mrs. Michael Lechler of the town of Eaton, Mrs. Eldon Fluhr of Meggers, Mrs. Francis Wagner, residing near Kiel, Alvin of the town of Schleswig, Alfon of the town of Eaton, Ruben of Manitowoc, Frederick of this city, and Elmer and Arno at home. Other survivors are 24 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Jacob Reichert of this city, Mrs. John Ruh of the town of Schleswig, Mrs. William Ott of near Valders; and 2 brothers, William Schnuell of New Holstein and Carl Schnuell of Manitowoc. One brother and one sister preceded her in death. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, and at 2 o'clock the Rev. Harold 0. Grunwald conducted services at the Louis Corners Zion Lutheran church. Interment was made in the adjoining church cemetery. During the services the church choir sang "Last Mich Gehn" and "Schlaf in Jesu" and "Befiehl Du Deine Wege." The latter was sung by the congregation.
ELMER A. RABE cemetery #83 Elmer A. Rabe, 89, of 922 Adams St., Kiel, died Saturday evening, May 27, 2000 at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center where he resided since January. He was born Oct. 3, 1910 in the town of Schleswig, son of the late August and Caroline Schnell Rabe. He attended the former Hillside Grove Grade School in the town of Schleswig. On Aug. 9, 1944, he married Hildegard Adelman at St. Nazianz. She preceded him in death on Feb. 14, 1998. Elmer farmed all his life on the family homestead until 1973 when they moved to Kiel. He enjoyed woodworking, tending to his roses and gardening. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. (Survivors omitted for privacy) He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. A funeral Mass will be held at noon Wednesday, May 31, 2000 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel with the Rev. Loren Nys, S.D.S, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel on Tuesday evening (TODAY) from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. when brief family rites will be held. A wake service will be held at 8 this evening at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for the Parkinson Disease Foundation.
EMMA RABE cemetery #20 Mrs. Otto Rabe Mrs. Otto Rabe, 52, passed away at her farm home in the town of Schleswig at 2 a.m. Thursday, after an illness of three months' duration. Mrs. Rabe, nee Emma Lawrence was born July 29, 1884 in the town of Schleswig, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Warren Lawrence. She was united in marriage to Mr. Rabe on May 29, 1900. For twelve years they lived on a farm on the Ucker road in the town of Eaton, and from here they moved to a farm in the town of Schleswig, where they have resided since. Following are the survivors: her husband; a daughter Elaine, at home; six sons, Harvey of Charlestown, Ervin of Eaton, Ray (married), at home, and Walter, Truman and Clarence in Schleswig; two sisters, Mrs. John Mattes of Collins, and Mrs. Herman Voelker of Kiel. Two children preceded her in death. Mrs. Rabe was a member of the Eaton Ladies' Aid Society. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, and burial was made in the Eaton cemetery.
FLORA RABE cemetery #82 Flora Rabe, 87, formerly of 55 E. Chicago St., Kiel, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 14, 1997 at Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein, where she resided the past year. She was born March 27, 1909 in Kiel, daughter of the late John and Selma Klemme Rabe. She retired from Leverenz Shoe Company in New Holstein. Survivors include one niece, Katie (Bill) Wolff of Appleton. She was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Richter, and one brother-in-law. Private funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 15 at Meiselwitz- Vollstedt Funeral Home in Kiel, with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs officiating. Burial will be in the Kiel City Cemetery.
GEORGE RABE SR. cemetery #87 Funeral services for George Rabe Sr., 74, of 508 North St. Kiel who died Saturday were held from the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners with the Rev. Wm. Hartwig officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery. The choir accompanied by Naomi Rabe at the organ sang: "For Me To Live Is Jesus" and "Asleep in Jesus". JOHN G. RABE cemetery #82 John G. Rabe, 87, of 621 Fremont Street, died last Thursday night at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient there for seven weeks. Funeral services were held Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. C. L. Reiter, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Kiel Cemetery. He was born September 26, 1882 in the Town of Eaton, a son of the late Frederick and Wilhelmina Kepernick Rabe. He attended district school. On September 5, 1908, he married the former Selma Klemme of the Town of Schleswig at Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners. The couple located in Kiel where he operated the Kiel Mill and later a tavern. From 1933 until his retirement in 1952, Mr. Rabe was employed as a liquor salesman. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a former member of the Manitowoc County Board. Mr. and Mrs. Rabe observed their 60th wedding anniversary in 1968. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Miss Flora Rabe of Kiel and Mrs. Russell Richter of Manitowoc; one grandchild and two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Christel of Kiel and Mrs. Alma Ruh of New Holstein and one brother, Herman of New Holstein. - 1969
RAYMOND RABE cemetery #84 Raymond Rabe, 62, of 5? Fremont St., Kiel, died unexpectiedly at his home early Sunday morning. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He was born on Dec. 13, 1902, in the town of Eaton (Manitowoc County) a son of Otto and the late Emma Rabe. He attended district school and on Nov. 25, 1933, was married to Viola Roethel of the Town of Schleswig. The couple lived a Millhome until moving to Kiel five years ago. Mr. Rabe, a Kohler Co. employe, was a member of The Redmen Lodge, Kiel, and the 24-Hour Club of the lodge. OLIVA RABE cemetery #20 Mrs. Alfon Rabe, 63, Route 1, Kiel, died Sunday night at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital after having been in ill health for the past several years. The former Oliva Brocker was born August 25, 1911 in the Town of Eaton, daughter of the late Frederick and Ida Bosma Brocker. She attended school in the township. On November 26, 1930, she married Mr. Rabe at Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners. She later worked at hotels in New Holstein and ChIlton. The couple farmed in the Town of Schleswig for four years before moving to a farm in Eaton. Mrs. Rabe was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel, its Ladies Aid Society and the Eaton Ladies Aid. (Survivors omitted for privacy) Funeral services were held yesterday, Wednesday, in Trinity Church, Kiel, with the Reverend C. L. Reiter, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Eaton Cemetery. OTTO G. RABE cemetery #20 Funeral services for Otto G. Rabe, 89, a retired Town of Eaton farmer, who died Thursday morning at the Toth Nursing Home, Chilton, will be held Saturday. The Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel, will officiate at the 2 p.m. service at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. Burial will be in the Eaton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. Born April 14, 1878 in the Town of Eaton, he was a son of the late Frederick and Wilhelmina Kepernich Rabe, and on May 29, 1900, married Emma Lawrence of the Town of Eaton. The couple operated a farm in the Town of Schleswig until 1911, when they moved to a farm in the Town of Eaton. Mrs. Rabe died in April, 1936. He was clerk of the Eaton Cemetery Association for many years. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Glenroy (Elaine) Wendling of Collins; five sons, Walter of New Holstein, Harvey and Truman, both of R. 1, Kiel, Erwin of R. 2, Kiel and Clarence of Collins; 20 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Christel of Kiel and Mrs. Alma Ruh of New Holstein, and two brothers, John of Kiel and Herman of New Holstein. SELMA RABE cemetery #82 Mrs. Selma Rabe, 88, Kiel, died Monday morning in the Toth Nursing Home, Chilton. The former Selma Klemme was born Jan. 6, 1889, in the Town of Schleswig, a daughter of Henry and Ottilie Thielke Klemme. She attended the district school in the Town of Schleswig. Sept. 5, 1908, she married John Rabe at Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners. The couple lived in Kiel after their marriage and observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1958. Mr. Rabe died Oct. 2, 1969. Mrs. Rabe was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel, and its Ladies Aid Society. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Laura Rabe, Kiel; a grandaughter and three great-granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Laura Chamberlin, Madison; and two brothers, Walter and Harry, both of Kiel. A daughter preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, the Rev. Richard Warnke, pastor, officiating. VIOLA RABE cemetery #84 Mrs. Raymond Rabe, 58, of 521 Fremont St., Kiel, died Thursday at Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc where she had been hospitalized the past four weeks. The former Viola Roethel, born on July 15, 1910, at Milhome(sic), a daughter of the late Christian and Anna Ibeling Roethel, she attended district school and Kiel High School. On Nov. 23, 1933, she married Raymond Rabe of the Town of Eden. The couple lived at Milhome until nine years ago when they moved to Kiel. Mr. Rabe died in February, 1965. Survivors include three sisters of Milwaukee and Kiel, and a brother of the Town of Rhine. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel with the Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Kiel officiating. Burial will be in the Schleswig Cemetery at Rockville. - 1969 (edited for possibly living)
ALBERT ROBERT FERDINAND RABENHORST cemetery #17 From Der Nord Westen, 10 Jan. 1901: Death here Mon. of Albert Rabenhorst, the 16-yr. old son of Wilhelm Rabenhorst of Cooperstown. The boy suffered an appendicitis attack and was brought here for an operation which was performed by Dr. Oviatt of Oshkosh. Sadly it was in vain. The body was taken to Cooperstown for burial today.

In 1852 he emigrated to America and settled here in Cooperstown. Soon after he married Louise Hase. He was a member of the church council and the board of trustees for fourteen years. He was diagnosed recently with kidney and liver problems, which led to his death. He is survived by a widow and seven children: three sons and four daughters, of whom one is married and two are not yet confirmed. His age was 56 years, 1 month, 12 days.
LEO P. RACH cemetery #84 Leo P. Rach, 63, of 736 Milwaukee St., Kiel, died at home early today. He had been ailing several years. A native of St. Anna, he was born May 13, 1905, a son of the late John and Barbara Mayer Rach. He attended Catholic school at St. Anna and married Selma Warnke of Kiel, April 21, 1930. The couple continued to live in Kiel where Mr. Rach was employed by the Kiel Wooden Ware Co. and worked as a salesman. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Parish in Kiel. (Survivors omitted for privacy) A son died in infancy. The requiem Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, with the Rev. George Kiefer, pastor, celebrant. Mass will follow 9:30 family rites at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, with burial in Schleswig cemetery at Rockville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
SELMA RACH cemetery #84 Mrs. Selma Rach, 70, 55 East Chicago Street, Kiel, widow of Leo Rach, died Monday at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, were she had been a patient one week. Selma Warnke was born December 20, 1903, in Kiel, daughter of the late Adolph and Minnie Backhaus Warnke. She attended Kiel Public Schools, and was married to Leo Rach on April 21, 1930. The couple lived all of their married lives in Kiel. Mrs. Rach was formerly employed at the Kiel Wooden Ware Company. Her husband died December 20, 1968. A member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Mrs. Rach also belonged to the Kiel Royal Neighbors of America and the GUG Germania Society. Survivors are one son of Kobler and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Reverend John F. Baumann officiating. Burial will be in Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville. The newborn child, a little boy, died at birth and was buried in his mother’s arms.

DORATHEA E. J. RADDER cemetery #81 Obituary - 1911 Dorothea (Boje) Radder On Sunday morning, in the house of her son-in-law, Mr. William Dedering near Steinthal, after a two-year struggle with heart problems, Mrs. Dorothea Radder, passed away at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 17 days. The deceased was born on December 4, 1835 in Hansdorf, Mecklenburg, Germany where she married Mr. John Radder in 1857 and came with him a year later to America and they first established themselves in the Town of Herman. After about 10 years they moved to the Town of Eaton to a farm. Her husband passed away about 20 years ago and since then she has been living by her son Wilhelm Radder. She leaves behind two sons, three daughters, one brother John Boje, 34 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. The burial was on Wednesday afternoon at the Bethlehem Church cemetery in the Town of Schleswig, with Pastor Hauser officiating.
FRIEDERIKE RADDER cemetery #81 Mrs. Friedericka(sic) Radder, 87, widow of William Radder, died early today at her home in the Town of Eaton. She had been ill for the past four months. She was born in Sassenhagen, Germany, on July 18, 1869, the daughter of Ludwig and Dorthea Ebert Roeseler. Confirmed in Germany in 1883, she came to this country with her parents the same year and settled in the Town of Schleswig. On April 21, 1891, she was married to William Radder and the couple operated the Radder homestead farm in the Town of Eaton. Her husband died April 12, 1929. since then she made her home with a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Radder, who have operated the farm since 1917. She was a member of Bethlehem Evangelical and Reformed Church in the Town of Schleswig and also belonged to the Ladies' Aid of the church. Besides her son, she is survived by three daughters, Miss Alfreda Radder of the Town of Eaton, Mrs. Theodore (Elsa) Schwalbe and Mrs. Ida Damm, both of Collins; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. she was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bethlehem Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. Lloyd Weber will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home at Kiel from 2 p.m. Friday until 10:30 a.m. Saturday and then at the church from 11:30 a.m.
WILLIAM RADDER cemetery #81 Town of Schleswig Citizen Succumbs Funeral services for William Radder, who passed away Friday at 6 p.m. in the town of Eaton, were held Tuesday at 2 o'clock from the home and from the Schleswig church. Burial was made in the Eaton cemetery with the Rev. August Hammann officiating. Mr. Radder was born February 22, 1865 in the town of Mosel, and was married to Miss Frederiecka Roessler of Schleswig. They then settled on the farm which they occupied the greater share of their life. He was taken to the Plymouth hospital March 27 and their(sic) remaining there for about a week returned home. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Miss Elfrieda at home, Mrs. Theodore Schwalbe, and Mrs. Fred Damm, both living on the Calumet road, and one son Arthur at thome. Three sisters, Mrs. William Dedering of this city, Mrs. Otto Hansen of Fond du Lac, and Mrs. August Drews of Schleswig, and four grandchildren also survive. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Radej, nee Mary Krt, was born Jan. 24, 1873, in Czechoslovakia, daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Broucek Krt. She was married in Czechoslovakia to John Radej Jan. 24, 1895. The family immigrated to this country in 1911, settling at Green Bay. In 1930, the family moved to Two Rivers where she resided since. Her husband died at Two Rivers in 1936. Surviving are a daughter of Appleton, three sons, one of San Diego, Calif, one of Two Rivers and one of Milwaukee. A sister Mrs. Anna Stary of Green Bay, 22 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren. A son preceded her in death. RADEY, 83, RESIDENT HERE 60 YEARS, DEAD (name and date of paper unknown) Peter Radey, aged 83 years, a resident of Manitowoc county for over sixty years and who drove teams of oxen here with grain and other farm produce from the farm near Kellnersville, passed away yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Richard Stangel, five miles this side of Kewaunee. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at ten o'clock from the Catholic church at Kellnersville with interment there. Mr. Radey came to this country when a young man of 23 years and has always resided here. For the past few years he has been living a retired life at the various homes of his children. Two daughters, Mrs. Stangel of Kewaunee and Mrs. Emil Kuenzel(sic) of Milwaukee and four sons, Joseph of Two Rivers, John, Montana, Emil, Green Bay and Frank, Route 6 Manitowoc, survive. HERMAN A. RADES cemetery #82 Herman A. Rades, 86, of Ada, died early today at Rocky Knoll where he had been a patient one week. He was born on Jan. 24, 1889 in Kiel, a son of the late Frank and Wilhelmina Goedeke Rades, He attended district school. On June 18, 1913 he married Hulda Fromm in Kiel. After marriage the couple operated a farm in the Town of Meeme until moving to Ada 32 years ago. Mr. Rades was employed at Millersville Box Co. and retired 14 years ago. The couple observed their golden wedding anniversary in June 1963. His wife died on Feb. 13, 1973. He was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ, Town of Herman. Survivors are a daughter, a son, 10 grandchildren and 26 great- grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Two daughters, a son, six sisters and two brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethel UCC. The Rev. Donald B. King, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Kiel Cemetery.
HULDA RADES cemetery #82 Mrs. Herman Rades, 82, of Ada, died early Tuesday at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient the past week. The former Hulda Fromm, she was born March 2, 1890 in Ramba, Germany, a daughter of the late Henry and Matilda (--rr) Fromm. At the age of four she came to the United States with her parents and settled at Rosendale near Fond du Lac. The family later moved to Kiel. On June 1_, 1913, she was married to (Mr.?) Rades of the Town of Meeme. After marriage the couple operated a farm in the Town of Meeme until moving to Ada ? years ago. The couple observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1963. Mrs. Rades was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ in the Town of Herman. Survivors are her husband; a son, Harry, Ada; three daughters, Mrs. Edgar __arts of Kiel, Mrs. Charles Schnell and Mrs. Clarence Rabe, both of Collins; ten grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Farrow and Mrs. Margaret Feldmann, both of Elkhart Lake; two brothers, Henry of Kiel and Arthur of Milwaukee. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethel United Church of Christ with the Reverend Donald King, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. For the past year and a half he had been residing with a daughter, Mrs. Steve Fote, in Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. She was married to Frank Radey in 1914 at Greenstreet, Manitowoc County. He preceeded her in death June of 1962. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Lucille) Chaloupka of Route 1 Mishicot, a brother, Louis Tuma of Kalispell, Mont., a sister, Mrs. Vernon (Violet) Mirkes of Johnston Drive, Manitowoc, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. A daughter, Eva, preceded her in death in 1968. Four brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death. Mr. Radey had been ill but a short time and death was due to an attack of pneumonia. The body will be brought here for burial, funeral services being held at St. Boniface. church at 9 o'clock Friday morning. Mr. Radey is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Alex Glysch, this city and Mrs. Roy Streuch of Sheboygan and one son, Adolph, of Sheboygan. An aged father, Peter Radey of Rockwell, and two sisters, Mrs. Emil Ginzel, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Richard Stangel, Kewaunee, and four brothers, Emil of Green Bay, John of Montana, Joseph of Branch and Frank of Rockwell also survive. ANNA BARBARA RADOW cemetery #67 From the Two Rivers Reporter, Friday, March 26, 1915: DIED - The funeral of Mrs. Anna Rado nee Habhegger, was held from the home of her son-in-law Mr. Louis Hartung, Saturday afternoon Rev. Jos. S. Morris of Grace Church officiating. The Quartette from Grace Church rendered "Nearer My God to Thee", "Rock of Ages" and "Love, That Wilt Not Let Me Go." Burial took place in the cemetery at Saxonburg. She had reached the advanced age of 97. She came to Milwaukee from Switzerland in 1849 where she was born at Canton, Bern, Town of Langnow in 1818. At Milwaukee she was married in 1851 to Philip Conrad Rado. They moved to Cooperstown this county where they resided a year or two. From there they moved to Saxonburg where her husband died in 1884. In 1901 Mrs. Radow moved to Two Rivers where she has resided with one of her sons and her daughter Mrs. Louis Hartung until she died. She enjoyed good health all her life never requiring the services of a physician until the last few days of her life. In her long life she was a woman of sterling character and a friend to all. Her endearing expression and kindly manner were ever present even in moments of bitterest trial. She is survived by two daughters, two sons, 5 grandchildren and one great- grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul Schossow with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Gladys was born Sept. 6, 1922, in Milwaukee. She was the daughter of the late Felix and Anna Nemetz Jentsch. She was a graduate from Lincoln High School with the class of 1940. From 1965 to 1972, Gladys was a secretary for Schmitt Lumber Co. On March 11, 1944, she married John F. Konecny at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 1965. She later married Russell F. Raduenz on July 29, 1972, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death Feb. 12, 2000. Gladys was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church and also did volunteer secretarial work at the church in past years. She enjoyed traveling and traveled through many states in the country.
