   1.   JOseph1 Jacquette, son of Joseph Jacquette and MAria Treavor, was born in 
          Brussels, Belgium November 14, 1846.  
          He married KAtherine Glockner in Two Rivers, Wis., April 6, 1874.  
          KAtherine was born in Tn. Two Rivers, Wis. March 1853.  She was the daughter 
          of Henry Glockner and Linae Glockner.  KAtherine died June 15, 1924 in Two 
          Rivers, Wis., at 71 years of age.  Buried in Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers. 
          Kleckner was originally Spelled Gluckner with an umlat over the U.

OBITUARY - TWO RIVERS REPORTER, June 20, 1924.
Mrs. Joseph Jacquette passed away Sunday night at her home on Adams street, death 
resulting from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Jacquette was one of the best known 
native-born settlers of Manitowoc County. Deceased was born March 11, 1853 in the 
Town of Two Rivers. For the past five years she has resided in Two Rivers. Besides 
her husband, four daughters survive her; Mrs. Christ Funk, Town of Two Rivers; Mrs. 
Andrew Wachtel, Two Rivers; Mrs. Frank Weiss, Two Rivers and Mrs. Clarence Holsen, 
Manitowoc. Four grandchildren also survive. The funeral was held Wednesday morning 
from St. Lukes Church with burial at Pioneer's Rest, Rev. C.V. Hugo presiding. 

     JOseph died February 11, 1936 in Two Rivers, Wis., at 89 years of age. Buried in

OBITUARY - MANITOWOC HERALD - Feb. 11, 1936, Two Rivers. 
The last member of one of the families that settled in the town of Two Rivers, when 
the vicinity was inhabited mostly by Indians, is dead. He was Joseph Jacquette Sr., 
89, a resident of Manitowoc county for 83 years, who died at the home of his daughter, 
Mrs. Frank Weiss, 1701, 24th. St., at 8:30 this morning. He had been in good health 
up to a year ago, despite his advanced age, and had attributed his longevity to long 
walks. Frequently, he hiked to points in the twon where he operated farms. Funeral 
arrangements are incomplete. The services will be held in St. Luke's Caltholic Church 
with the Very Rev. Dean C. V. Hugo officiating, and internment will be in the family 
lot in Calvary Cemetery, but the day and hour of the funeral have not been selected. 
The body is at the Beduhn and Goetz Funeral Home. Joseph Jacquette was born in 
Brussels, Belgium, Nov. 14, 1846, a son of Joseph and Mary Jacquette. At the age of 
six, he was brought to this country by his parents who settled in virtually a 
wilderness on a farm on the Rangeline, three miles north of the City. In 1874 Mr. 
Jacquette married Catherine Kleckner of the town of Two Rivers in St. Luke's Church 
here. Leaving the homestead farm, the couple bought a farm on the Mishicot road, 
which they sold 14 years ago to Al Braun. The family then moved to the City. Mrs. 
Jacquette died 12 years ago. Since that time, Mr. Jacquette has made his home with 
his children here and in the town of Two Rivers. Mr. Jacquette is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. Christ Funk of the town of Two Rivers, Mrs. Frank Weiss, and Mrs. 
Clarence Hosen, both of this City. There are also eight grandchildren and three great 
grandchildren. For more than 50 years Mr. Jacquette was a member of the St. Joseph 
Society of St. Luke's Church. He was also affiliated with the Holy Name Society of 
the church. 


     JOseph Jacquette and KAtherine Glockner had the following children:

                 No further information found in Manitowoc Co. She may have died 
                 since another child was named Mary in 1885.

     5  iv.    Rose Jacquette was born in Two Rivers, Wis. March 18, 1881.
                 She married Edward Bishop in Two Rivers, Wis., July 23, 1902.
                 Edward was born in Wisconsin June 20, 1876.  He was the son of 
                 Rudolph Bishop and Anna C. Wachtel.  Edward died January 8, 1945 in 
                 Two Rivers, Wis., at 68 years of age.  Buried Two Rivers. Edward 
                 remarried, Nora Willert. They had a child, Carol, born Nov. 5, 1906. 
                 Rose died May 2, 1903 in Two Rivers, Wis., at 22 years of age.

     7  vi.    Mammie Anna? Jackett was born in Two Rivers, Wis. 1886.  
                 She married Christoffel.  Living in Tn. Two Rivers in 1926. Not 
                 mentioned as a survivor in sister Catherine's obit. 1965.

     CAtherine S.2 Jacquette (JOseph1) was born in Two Rivers, Wis. October 26, 1874.  	
       She married CHristopher Funk in Two Rivers, Wis., November 21, 1894.  
       CHristopher was born in Two Rivers, Wis. October 14, 1867.  He was the son of 
       HEinrich Funk and SOnisa Louisa Weinschenk.  CHristopher died February 15, 1944 
       in Two Rivers, Wis., at 76 years of age.  Buried in Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers.
 
OBITUARY - TWO RIVERS, Feb. 15, 1944. 
Christ Funk, 76, town of Two Rivers farmer, died at the home of his son, Norbert, of 
Rt. 1, Two Rivers, early today. He was born at Two Rivers in 1867 and when nine years 
of age, moved to the homestead farm with his parents. In 1894, he married Miss 
Catherine Jacquette and they located in Two Rivers where Mr. Funk was employed in the 
pail factory. In 1907, he purchased a farm adjoining the homestead and operated it 
until 5 years ago, when he retired, disposing of the farm to his son, with whom he 
made his home. Mrs. Funk died 35 years ago. Survivors are the son, Norbert; two 
daughters, Mrs. John Samz of Mishicot and Mrs. Erwin Bugler, at home; three sisters, 
Mrs. Peter Mueller of Two Rivers, Mrs. Mike Reinert of Manitowoc Rapids and Mrs. 
Fredoline Benzinger of Cavour; one brother, Henry Funk of the town of Two Rivers, 
and six grandchildren. Arrangments by Beduhn Funeral Home. Services at St. Lukes 
Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Dean C.V. Hugo officiating. Internment in Calvary 
Cemetery.    	

CAtherine died March 7, 1965 in Tn. Two Rivers, Wis., at 90 years of age.
 
OBITUARY - MANITOWOC HERALD TIMES, March 8, 1965. 
Mrs. Christ Funk, 90, died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John 
Samz, of route 1, Mishicot, with whom she resided. Funeral services will be at 
9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer 
Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. J.K. Mueller officiating. Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Funk, nee Catherine Jacquette, was born Oct. 26, 1874 in the 
Town of Mishicot, daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Kleckner Jacquette. She 
attended Crystal Springs School and Nov. 21, 1893, married Christ Funk at Two Rivers. 
The couple resided at Two Rivers until 1908 when it moved to a farm in the Town of 
Two Rivers. Mr. Funk died in February 1944. survivors include a son, Norbert, of 
Rt. 1, Two Rivers; Two daughters, Mrs. Samz of Rt. 1 , Mishicot, and Mrs. Ervin 
Bugler, of Rt. 1, Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Holsen, of Manitowoc; nine 
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral chapels, 
where the Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock this Monday evening.

                  John was born May 1, 1887.  He was the son of Joseph Samz and Julia 
                  Switalski.  John died October 25, 1974 in Mishicott, Wis., at 87 
                  years of age. Buried Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicott. 
                  CAtherine died August 27, 1965 in Mishicott, Wis., at 70 years

     11  iii.   AGnes Emilie Funk was born in Two Rivers, Wis. June 6, 1899. 
                  She married Erwin J. Bugler in Two Rivers, Wis., November 16, 1921.  
                  Erwin was born in Two Rivers, Wis. January 31, 1898.  He was the 
                  son of Charles Bugler and Bertha Franz.  Erwin died July 7, 1965 
                  in Two Rivers, Wis., at 67 years of age. Buried Calvary Cemetery.

                  He married Maria A.Mamie Huss in Mishicott, Wis., October 25, 1939.  
                  Maria was born 1918.  She was the daughter of Charles Huss and Mary 
                  Spitzelberger.  Maria died January 30, 2001 in Two Rivers, Wis., at 
                  82 years of age. NOrbert died November 22, 1986 in Two Rivers, Wis., 
                  at 78 years of age.  Buried Calvary Cemetery.

       She married Andrew Wachtel in Two Rivers, Wis., February 25, 1908.  Andrew 
       was born in Two Rivers, Wis. 1877.  He was the son of Andrew Wachtel and 
       Anna Glucksten.  
       EMilie died July 5, 1926 in Two Rivers, Wis., at 47 years of age.

       1880 census shows Mary, 3 years old. 
       She married FRank Weiss in Two Rivers, Wis., June 9, 1908. 
       FRank was born in Two Rivers, Wis. January 29, 1881.  He was the son of 
       Bernhardt Weiss and Mary Nick.  FRank died March 2, 1948 in Two Rivers, Wis., 
       at 67 years of age.

       Holsen and Elizabeth Bewen.  Clarence died December 15, 1980 in Manitowoc, Wis., 
       at 87 years of age.
