First Generation 1. VIctor1 Jacquette, son of Joseph Jacquette and MAria Treavor, was born in Brussels, Belgium May 3, 1842. He married Josephine Barmel in Two Rivers, Wis., August 15, 1864. Josephine was born in Pruessen, Germany 1844. She was the daughter of Henry Barmel and Fromicka Barmel. Josephine died 1895 ? in Manitowoc Co., Wis., at 51 years of age. Family name listed as Gugnette by informant Matt on Martin V. Jacq. death record. The family name Willer & Barmer is also found. Either Victor married more than one Josephine when he was younger, or misinformation was passed down. On three chidren's birth record it's spelled Bermel. A Veronica Bermel is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers He married ELizabeth Bebeau in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, July 20, 1897. ELizabeth was born in Two Rivers, Wis. May 11, 1863. She was the daughter of Tellesford Bebeau and Elizabeth Barcome. She married JAcob Hoffmann in Two Rivers, Wis., April 14, 1883. Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Jackett, aged 72, widow of Victor Jackett, who died Tuesday morning at her home, 1024 St. Clair Avenue, following a lingering illness, will be held at 8:30 am. at the Jackett home, and at 9 am. at Holy Name Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Phillip Dreis will officiate and burial will be made on the family lot in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Jackett was born in Two Rivers May 11, 1863, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Telles Bebean. She was united in marriage with Victor Jackett in 1896 and the couple located in Sheboygan. Mr. Jackett preceded his wife in death eight years ago. Survivors are two daughters and a son, Mrs. Otto Riemer and Mrs. Herbert Kemper, and Joseph Jackett, all of this City; several step-children, nine grandchildren, a sister and two brothers, Mrs. Otto Shillingowski and Frank Bebean of this City, and Fred of Oconto Falls. Mrs. Jackett was a mother deeply devoted to her family. She was a faithful member of the Holy Name church and enjoyed a large acquaintance and many friends in the city. VIctor died August 25, 1927 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, at 85 years of age. Buried in North Side Catholic Cemetery, Sheboygan. OBITUARY - SHEBOYGAN PRESS, August 26, 1927 Victor Jackett, Civil War veteran and well known resident of the city, passed away at 4:30 pm. Thursday at the family residence, 1024 St. Clair Ave., following a two-week's illness Mr. Jackett was born in Belgium on May 3, 1842, and at the age of thirteen years came to the United States with his parents. The family located in Two Rivers. He was married in 1896 to Elizabeth Bebeau in this city, and had lived here continuously since his marriage. Up to eight years ago, Mr. Jackett had been employed for many years at the American Chair Co. At the time of the Civil War, Mr. Jackett enlisted at Two Rivers in the Twelfth Wisconsin Company D, Third Division. He saw real action for eleven months. Suvivors are the widow and the following children: Mrs. Arthur McNally, Milwaukee Mrs. Peter Lyons, Mankato, Minn. Mrs. Herbert Keuper, Sheboygan x Mrs. Otto Riemer, Sheboygan x Martin Jackett, Sheboygan x? Tony Jackett, Milwaukee Joseph Jackett, Sheboygan x One brother, Joseph Jackett, of Two Rivers, thirty grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren also survive. Up to the time of his illness about two weeks ago, Mr. Jackett had enjoyed working in the garden of his home. He was fond of flowers and cared for them daily when he could. He also enjoyed a large circle of friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 am. Monday at the residence and at 9 am. from Holy Name church. Rev. She did not appear on the 1880 census and may have died. 5 iv. Catharina Jacquette was born in Two Rivers, Wis. May 12, 1872. Only birth record. 6 v. Veronicka Jacquette was born in Two Rivers, Wis. 1874. She married Emil Guttalke in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, June 4, 1890. Emil was born in Garnton, Germany. October 22, 1878. 9 viii. Theresa Jacquette was born in Two Rivers, Wis. March 22, 1882. She married Samual Bartlette in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, May 11, 1902. Samual was born in Oconomowoc, Wis. December 6, 1882. He was the son of Alexander Bartlette and Mary Ann Bartlette. Samual died October 1969 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at 86 years of age. He married Mary Caspar in Manitowoc Co., Wis., June 22, 1900. Mary was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin December 22, 1878. She was the daughter of Christian Casper and Katherine Engel. Mary died April 18, 1964 in Tn. Plymouth, Sheboygan Co., Wis., at 85 years of age. Buried in Holy Cross cemetery. MArtin died November 12, 1946 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, at 69 years of age. OBITUARY - SHEBOYGAN PRESS, Nov. 13, 1946. Martin Victor Jacquette, Sr. 1430 Virginia avenue, passed away at St. Nicholas hospital Tuesday afternoon after a lingering illness at the age of 69. Mr. Jacquette was born in Two Rivers, Wis., Jan. 1, 1877, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Victor Jacquette. When he was a child, he moved to Sheboygan with his parents and he has always resided in Sheboygan. He attended St. Peter Claver school and was a faithful member of the Congregation. He was also a member of the St. Peter Claver Society. In 1898 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Casper of Milwaukee. Jacquette was a faithful employee of the Armour Leather Co. Mr. Jacquette is survived by his wife and four sons and one daughter; Frank of Waukegan, Ill., Matt, Martin, Jr., and Christ of Sheboygan, Mrs. Donald (Marie) Grams of Sheboygan, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. His parent, two daughters and one son preceded him in death. Services by Father C. J. Hausner of St. Peter Claver Church. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. He was the son of Anton Spaeth and Sophia Ebert. Charles died July 1966 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Elizabeth died May 15, 1941 at 39 years of age. 15 iv. Frank Jacquette was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin May 27, 1904. Living in Waukegan Illinois in 1946. No further info. 16 v. MAthias Mathew A. Jacquette was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin July 27, 1906. He married MAbel M. Sass in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, October 5, 1935. MAbel was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin November 14, 1910. She was the daughter of Albert Sass and Ann Kramer.
