Church, Town of Schleswig. Frank Bratz was born in Germany of Michael 
Bratz and Dorothea Lulloff.
Anna P. Voss was born in the Town of Schleswig of Ernst Voss and Friedricka 
Backhaus.
(Note: Possibly Anna Voss in these photos, obit has his wife as Emma, but he
is beside Anna in the cemetery. Anna Emma or Emma Anna?

Rites Held Wednesday for Frank Bratz
Funeral services were held from the Bethlehem E and R church
Wednesday afternoon for Frank Bratz, 93, who died at his home
Sunday afternoon. The services were conducted by the Rev. Carl
Fried, pastor of the church. Burial was made in the parish 
cemetery.
Mr. Bratz was born in Germany January 11, 1864 and came to this
country when he was five years old. The family lived in Manitowoc
county. He was married to Miss Emma Voss and they resided on a
farm in Eaton for few years, moving to the present Bratz place
in Schleswig 51 years ago.
Mr. Bratz's only survivors are his son Arthur, and a grandson,
Kenneth. His wife died in December, 1933, and a daughter, Mrs.
Ernest Westphalen and seven brothers also preceded him in death.

His parents were Michael Bratz and Dorothy Lulloff. He was a farmer. 
He died on Sept. 22, 1957.  He died from “cerebral hemorrhage” and 
“senility”.  He is buried at Bethlehem Cemetery, Town of Schleswig.

Mrs. Frank Bratz, aged 68, died at her home in the town of Schleswig
on Monday of heart disease. Funeral services were held this Thursday
afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the C.J. Meiselwitz Funeral Home, and at
2 o'clock at the Bethlehem Evangelical and Reformed church in Schleswig,
with the Rev. A.H. Hammann officiating. Interment was made in the
adjoining church cemetery.
The deceased was born in the town of Schleswig, daughter of Ernst and
Fredericka Voss, and was married to Mr. Bratz December 10, 1890. The
couple lived on an Eaton farm for 18 years and 31 years ago moved to
their present homestead. Survivors are her husband, a daughter, Mrs.
Ernst Westphalen of the town of Eaton, a son, Arthur at home; a grand-
child; five sisters, Mrs. William Jochimsen of New Holstein, Mrs. Edward
Lueloff of Withee, Mrs. Otto Karstaedt of the town of Sheboygan, Mrs.
William Ninmer of the town of New Holstein, and Mrs. William Schnell of
the town of Schleswig. Three sisters preceded her in death.

EMMA (TIMM) BREEDEN


Emma (Timm) Breeden

Word was received here Thursday by Mrs. George Leverenz and H.C. Timm of the
death of their sister, Mrs. Emma Breeden, nee Emma Timm. Mrs. Breeden passed
away at her home in San Antonio, Texas that day. Mrs. Breeden was born in
this city November 28, 1874, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Timm, Sr.
After completing a course at the Spencerian Business College at Milwaukee, she
was employed by her father, as his secretary for a number of years. In June 
1912, she was united in marriage to William Breeden of San Antonia, Texas,
where the couple make their home. Mr. Breeden preceded his wife in death in
1932. She is survived by three sisters, Emily and Agatha, who have made their
home with the deceased for the past few years, and Mrs. George Leverenz of here,
and two brothers, Dr. Edmund Timm of Milwaukee and H.C. Timm of this city. Mr.
Timm left immediately for San Antonio to attend the funeral services.

This photo was badly deteriorated so I repaired it to the best of my ability.
It still leaves a lot to be desired. Part of her face and hair were gone and
there was a big area on her arm missing. I reconstructed some "hair" for her
but have no idea what her hairdo looked like or shade of brown. Enough was
there to get a good idea of what she looked like...Shari
