The deceased was born April 13, 1860 in Rhine where he was married to Miss Julia Uhl. They resided on the homestead until they moved to Elkhart Lake a number of years ago. Mr. Feldman served as village marshall, street commissioner, and deputy sheriff. He is survived by his wife, three children, Helwig Feldman of Sheldon, Mrs. Linda Bartell of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Sylvia Jugenheimer of Kiel. Three sisters, Mrs. Carl Weiskopf of Plymouth, Mrs. Sarah Ruh of Kiel, Mrs. Caroline Goldammer-Gerhardt of Elkhart Lake, and one brother, Jacob of Brainerd, Minn., also are left to mourn his death. Two sisters and one brother preceded him in death. Mr. Feldman for many years was an active member of the local Modern Woodman of America lodge, the officers and members of which assisted in the funeral Tuesday afternoon at the home at 1:00 and from the Evangelical church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Carl Nagel officiated. She was born on June 26, 1865 in the Town of Rhine and was 65 years old. On December 1888 she married John Feldmann. The family lived here on a farm and then for 15 years in the Village of Elkhart Lake. The husband died on May 10, 1929. She is survived by three children; Mrs. Ernst Bartell of Milwaukee; Mrs. Ph Jugenheimer of Kiel; Hellwig Feldmann in northern Wisconsin; also by the following siblings; Miss Sophie Uhl, Mrs. Val Raeder of Elkhart Lake; Mrs. John Rosenbauer of Rockville; Carl of Rockville; Jacob of Town Rhine. The funeral was on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the house and St. John Church with burial on the church cemetery. Pastor E. Nagel officiated. November 6, 1949 St. Cloud wife of Joseph Feldner Married October 14, 1895 in St. Cloud ********** Mrs. Anna Feldner, 80, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Sunday at her home in St. Cloud following an illness of three weeks. She was born in New York on May 1, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wickert. She was married in St. Cloud to the late Joseph Feldner on Oct. 14, 1895. He preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1945. Survivors includes three daughters, Mrs. Math Berenz and Mrs. Edmund Berenz, both of St. Cloud, and Mrs. Arnold Simon of Calvary; one step-son, Bert Feldner of Fond du Lac; a half brother, Peter Hoffmann, and a half-sister, Mrs. Claude Basler, both of Mayville; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society and the Third Order of St. Francis. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Lisowe Funeral home and at St. Claudius Catholic Church. The Rev. Stephen Zohlen will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery. Sheboygan Press November 7,1949
