From researcher:
Father's name was Wenzel. The family moved from WI to Fairmont ND in 1886,
supposedly for new farm land. The younger children all settled in
Fairmont/Wahpeton area. Adam, Katherine (Hingtgen), Michael and Joseph.
I'm not sure where Elizabeth (Ambrosich) was buried, but I believe it
to be Wahpeton. She definitely lived there.
Michael is buried (as I discovered this morning) in the Catholic
cemetery in Breckenridge, MN. I suspect he went to ND, but I haven't
had time to trace down the line. Our family only knew of the names of
Adam, Katherine, and Elizabeth, although they remembered that there
were a lot of boys. Elizabeth's obit had her birth information - I
finally did the necessary work to find the 1880 census this morning.
And one more bit of information... We're not 100% sure, because the
photos we have date from a decade later, but we believe that the photo
you have labeled William Gebhard is of Katherine and Elizabeth Gebhart.
Katherine was born 1874; Elizabeth 1880.
