Katherine nee Mueller (June 5, 1864-Oct. 15, 1934 wife of John Gellings [married Nov. 27, 1883 at St. Gregory] –daughter of John Mueller and Mary Schad -born Town of Schleswig –died from "coronary sclerosis and coronary thrombosis") (she is in cemetery #21..Catherine Gellings on tombstone) ********* Mrs. Gellings Of Near Kiel Passes Away On Monday Kiel - Mrs. Katharine Gellings, 70, passed away at her home, three miles north of Kiel, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock following an illness of a few days. Mrs. Gellings, nee Mueller, was born on a farm in the town of Schleswig, June 5, 1864, and was married to John Gellings of St. Mazianz in 1883. For five years until the death of Mr. Gellings in 1888 the couple resided on a farm near St. Nazianz. For the past seventeen years Mrs. Gellings and family have occupied the August Luedtke homestead farm in the town of Schleswig, where Mrs. Gellings passed away. Survivors are three sons, Peter and John at home, and Alois of St. Nazianz, one grandaughter, two brothers, Peter and Jacob Mueller of St. Nazianz, and one sister, Mrs. Mathias Gellings of St. Martin, Wis. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the family residence near Kiel and at 10 o'clock at the St. Gregory Catholic church in St. Nazianz. The Rev. Finton Holzknecht will officiate and interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Mrs. Gensch, 83, Omro Woman, Dies OMRO, Wis—(Special)—Mrs. Frieda Gensch, 83, passed away this morning at the Relien Convalescent Home here after an extended illness. She was born August 13, 1869, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late William and Augusta Kreimann. She was married to Ernest Gensch in November, 1898, at New Holstein. They lived in Omro most of their married life. Her husband died Jan. this year. Mrs. Gensch was a member of the Omro Chapter of Rebekahs. Survivors are two brothers, George Kreimann, Kiel, Wis., and Theodore Kreimann, of Dousman, Wis., and one sister, Mrs. August Preiser, of Milwaukee. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be at First Presbyterian Church of Omro, with the Rev. Ernest C. Parrish officiating. Burial will be in the Omro cemetery. Oshkosh Daily Northwestern, January 15, 1953 ******** Ernest Gensch, 79, Omro Resident, Dies OMRO, Wis—(Special)—Ernest Gensch, 79, a retired Omro tinsmith, died at Winnebago State Hospital Tuesday after an extended illness. He was born in the Town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, Jan. 28, 1873. He was married there to Frieda Kreimann in 1898. Surviving are his widow and two sisters, Mrs. George Kreimann, Town of Schleswig, and Mrs. Herman Ninmer, Kiel. Funeral services will be held at the Omro Presbyterian Church Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Ernest Parrish officiating. Burial will be in the Omro Cemetery. The Masonic Lodge of which Mr. Gensch was a member, will conduct Masonic services at the church.
