Former St. Nazianz Business Woman Dies Mrs. William C. Groh, former St. Nazianz business woman, died Friday morning at the age of 76 years at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Francis (Helen) Belinske at Manitowoc. Funeral services took place on Monday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Gregory's church, at St. Nazinanz, with the Rev. Fintan Holzknecht officiating. Burial took place in the adjoining church cemetery. Mrs. Groh was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and the Christian Mothers society. Mrs. Groh, nee Barbara Koenig was born in the town of Meeme April 6, 1870, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Koenig. On May 21, 1894 she was married to William C. Groh, and the couple located in St. Nazianz, where they operated a general merchandise store for nearly fifty years. Mr. Groh died about 10 years ago, but Mrs. Groh and sons operated the store until last fall. Survivors include 3 sons, Edward, William and Roland, all of St. Nazianz; two daughters, Mrs. Francis (Helen) Belinske of Manitowoc and Mrs. Frank (Rose) Schmidbauer of Sheboygan, and 17 grandchildren. One son, Leo, preceded her in death. ************* Mrs. Barbara Groh, 76 Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Groh were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Gregory's Catholic church in St. Nazianz, with the Rev. Fintan Holzknecht officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Rauch of Francis Creek, the Rev. Edward Wagner of Jericho, the Rev. James Wagner of Green Bay and the Rev. Robert Schmidtbauer of Milwaukee were in the sanctuary. Pallbearers were grandchildren of the deceased: Joseph, Francis, Paul, Robert and Jerome Groh of St. Nazianz, and Pvt. James Groh of Roswell, N.M. Relatives from Washington, D.C., Fond du Lac, South Milwaukee, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Howards Grove, Appleton, Sherwood, Lena, Kiel, Hayton, Osman, Spring Valley, School Hill and Cleveland were in attendance at the last rites. ************* Barbara nee Koenig wife of William C.
