He had been a resident of the Reiss Aged Home for five years. Funeral services will be held this morning, Thursday, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church with burial in the parish cemetery. Born in the town of Schleswig January 17, 1872, he was a son of the late John J. and Margaret Reichert Mueller and received his education at SS. Peter and Paul parochial school in Kiel. He operated the Mueller homestead farm until his retirement in 1942. The only immediate survivor is a sister, Miss Magdalene Mueller, a resident of the Anna M. Reiss Home. A brother preceded him in death. He never married. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church, the Holy Name society, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Catholic Knights.
