Mrs. Lillie Tiedjens, 74, died early Sunday morning at her home, 
2311 Wisconsin Avenue, New Holstein, after being in ill health 
for two weeks,  Born April 22, 1877, in New Holstein, she was 
the daughter of Adolph and Ina Arens Muenster, attended the 
public schools and was married to Herman Tiedjens on Feb. 12, 
1902.  Mrs. Tiedjens was a member of the Civic club, the Order 
of Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors, the New Holstein Cemetery 
Ladies Aid society and the Women’s Guild of St. John Evangelical 
and Reformed church.  
Survivors are her husband; a son Roland, Milwaukee; two daughters, 
Mrs. Milton (Goeldi) Seidel and Mrs. Ray (Virginia) Troeger, 
Milwaukee; five grandchildren; a brother, Herman, New Holstein, 
and a sister, Mrs. Rola Harneck, Milwaukee.  
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral 
home, New Holstein, with the Rev. John R. Seidler, pastor of St. 
John Evangelical and Reformed Church, officiating.  Burial will 
be in Wisconsin Memorial cemetery, Milwaukee.
