Burial last Sat. in Rockville of Mrs. Adam Zimmermann. She came to Town Schleswig about 30 yrs. ago with her husband Gerhard Guhr [Suhr]. Mr. Guhr died about 15 yrs. ago, and she married Adam Zimmermann, who himself went to his eternal slumber within the year. ********* Mrs. Adam Zimmermann who has lived in the neighborhood of Rockville, Manitowoc County for many years died there on Thursday at the age of 53 years. From Sheboygan county death records: Fred Zimmermann (v.46 p.565) Husband of Mary Klein Aug. 23, 1865-Sept. 12, 1941 Space for parents is left blank Born Darmstaedt, Germany –retired well driller Died from “arteriosclerotic hart disease –decompensation –general arteriosclerosis –bronchial asthma” Buried at St. George Catholic Cemetery, Town of Rhine, Sheboygan County ********** Fred Zimmerman, aged 76, long time resident of Elkhart Lake, died on Friday afternoon at 6:45 at his home following a long illness. Mr. Zimmerman was born in Darmstaedt, Germany on August 23, 1865, and came to this country with his parents when he was two years old and settled at Millhome. On September 14, 1895 he was united in marriage with Mary Klein, and the couple since then has resided in Elkhart Lake. The deceased is survived by his wife; two sons, Arwin of Sheboygan, and Harry of Milwaukee; four daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Viola) Boeselager of Two Rivers, Mrs. Victor (Ida) Graef of Sheboygan, Mrs. Harvey (Lillian) Boeselager of Town Plymouth, and Mrs. Albert (Mildred) Huberty of St. Paul, Minnesota; a brother, Henry Zimmerman, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Randau of Milwaukee; 12 grandchildren. Mr. Zimmerman was a charter member of the Elkhart Lake fire depart- ment and has been active in that organization at all times. Funeral services were conducted at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning at the Raeder Funeral Home at Elkhart Lake, and at 9 a.m. at the St. George Catholic church, with the Rev. A.J. Reinl officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery in the town of Rhine.
