JULIANE KNUTH Centerville news: Mrs. Julia Knuth, of the village of Centerville responded to the summons of death Wednesday morning, April 29. She had been sick for about a year and at last had become partly blind. Mrs. Knuth was a county charge, but was a woman of such industry and ambition that she intended to refuse aid after a year or two and support herself, with her family of four children, the oldest of which is about eighteen, while the youngest is a child of twelve years of age. Out of the scanty earnings of her children and her own industry, this noble woman had laid aside enough money to purchase a little home of her own, but alas, she was not long to enjoy the fruits of years of toil and privation. In company with her husband and children, she immigrated to this county about 14 years ago, from Russia, being of German descent, however. They first settled at Sheboygan from which place they moved to Centerville, where her husband had found employment, but died shortly after from blood poison, leaving his family alone in the world. "What is a Sister" A sister is someone who has been where you've been, Who knows you and what you're about Someone you know you can call if you need to When something's just not working out A sister is someone who's more than just family Her friendship is one of a kind. And the closeness you've shared through life's laughter And tears is the deepest that you'll ever find. We were sisters by chance and friends by choice.
