What follows is one of Caryn's published poems. The trees sway from side to side as the winter winds blow. It's as if they wave goodbye to you every time you go. Then the sun will go down as the world takes its turn, And it will not shine as bright 'till the day you return Then all that will remain is your footprints in the snow. Which in time will start to fade and even they will go. But my memories of you could never fade away, for each time you leave I will miss you every day. Because you mean so much You're the one I hold true And you'll be with me always For my heart belongs to you. The Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Caryn will be missed dearly by everyone whose lives she touched. She will be in our hearts always ... and forever. Memorials may be made in Caryn's name to Lakeshore Humane Society. Herald Times Reporter, Nov. 4, 2007
