JOHN HABACH John Haback Dies Friday At Hospital Funeral services for John Haback, 81, were held Monday morning from S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. In charge of the Rev. F.X. Khell. Mr. Haback died at St. Nicholas hospital Friday morning. He was born October 18, 1871 at Richfield. He came to Schleswig township when he was seven years of age to make his home with the Fred Broeckert family. He married Margaret Weber, September 22, 1908, and the couple made their home in Kiel. He was employed at the A. A. Laun Furniture factory. Mrs. Haback died in 1943. He was a member of the S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Holy Name society. Survivors include one brother, Adam of Mayville. (no newspaper named, 9-3-1953) MARGARET HABACH Mrs. Habach Dies After An Illness; Rites On Friday. Kiel. - Mrs. John (Margaret) Habach, 59, of 413 S. Fifteenth street, passed away in St. Nicholas hospital at Sheboygan on Tuesday shortly before noon. She had been a patient since Dec. 18, and had been ailing the past year. Born March 4, 1883, in Town Centerville, she was the daughter of Michael and Margaret Weber. She married Mr. Habach on Sept. 22, 1908, and the couple resided in Kiel all their life. Surviving are her husband, a sister, Mrs. Marie Mahlberg, of New Holstein, and a brother, Michael, of Kiel. There were no children. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 at the C.J. Meiselwitz Funeral home here and at 10 o'clock at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church with the Rev. Father F.X. Kheil officiating. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul cemetery. FERDINAND HABEGGER Ferdinand P. Habegger, 64, of Route 1, Valders, died January 1, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient the past week. He had been in ill health for several years. He was born July 30, 1915, in Milwaukee, son of Paul Habegger and his late wife, the former Lillian Coppersmith. He graduated born Messner High School in 1934. He and Vivian Klemmer were married at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milwaukee. The couple lived in Milwaukee until moving to rural Valders two years ago. Mr. Habegger was an electrician at Wisconsin Electric Power Company, Milwaukee. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Milwaukee and the Swiss American Fraternal Lions Society. Surviving are his wife; his father of Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Feltes of Route 1, Kiel; a son, Joseph of Grafton; three sisters, Mrs. Alvin Wallich of Franklin, Mrs. Marie Gruett of Milwaukee and Mrs. Michael West of Hartland; two brothers, Robert of Racine and Don of Hartland; and six grandchildren. VIVIAN HABEGGER BECKER Vivian Rose Habegger Becker, 90, a resident of Willowpark, New Holstein, went to her eternal rest on Wednesday evening, April 22, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. She was the former Vivian R. Klemmer, born Feb. 9, 1919, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Jacob & Cecelia (Kenney) Klemmer. Vivian attended school in Milwaukee. Her first marriage was to Ferdinand P. Habegger. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1980. On Aug. 6, 1983, she married Richard Becker at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. Vivian had been employed at Cedar Lake Supper Club for a number of years. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. Her family was the most important thing in her life. Vivian loved to dance and sing and was in the church choir previously at St. Catherine's and St. Thomas Aquinas in Milwaukee and SS Peter & Paul, Kiel, for more than 30 years. Vivian was the director of the Kiel Senior Singers for many years and enjoyed singing at the Manitowoc County Fair and the local nursing homes. Survivors include her husband: Richard of Chilton; two children: Cecelia Feltes, Valders; and special friend, Rodney Schnell, Joseph (Barbara) Habegger, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Glenn Feltes, Reedsville and special friend, Liz, Rhonda Deehr, Newton and special friend, Steve, Tracy (Don) Sabrowsky, Elkhart Lake, Kevin (Erica) Feltes, Elkhart Lake, Brian (Nichol) Feltes, Fond du Lac, eight great grandchildren, Amanda Reiss, Kyle Feltes, Hannah Feltes, Josh Sabrowsky, Jessica Sabrowsky, Kaitlyn Deehr, Jadyn Deehr, Johnathan Feltes and three great great grandchildren, Dakota and Kaden Reiss and Lilliana Kubachek. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Harold, Ralph and Arnold Klemmer. RUEBEN W. HACKBARTH Rueben W. Hackbarth, age 69, 512 Fifth St., Kiel, died Saturday morning, Dec. 28, 1991 at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton, where he had been admitted on Friday morning. He was born July 17, 1922 in Hilbert, Wis., a son of the late Charles and Frieda Brandes Hackbarth. He attended Hilbert Public School. On June 16, 1951, he married Marion Klauck at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. He was employed at Kohler Co. 25 years, retiring in 1980. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War 11. He is a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. CATHERINE HALFMANN Catherine “Kate” L. Halfmann, 79, formerly of 1018 First Street, Kiel died peacefully September 22, 2002 at Calumet Homestead Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein with her family at her side. She had been a resident of the Homestead the past three years. She is s the former Catherine Riesterer, born in St. Nazianz on June 21, 1923, daughter of the late Anton and Mary Fessler Riesterer. She attended St. Gregory School in St. Nazianz. Kate married Robert Halfmann at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz on June 21, 1945. Her husband Bob preceded her in death on March 3, 1992. Kate was employed for a number of years at the former Hanson Glove Factory, Kiel. She enjoyed floral and vegetable gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Kate was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, its Christian Womens Society, the church choir, and was very active with the church’s prayer line. Survivors include her seven children Richard (Nancy Hass) Halfmann, New Holstein, Patt (Don) Grohskopf, Ada, Kathy (Dennis) Reiter, Madison, Robert (Linda Herwig) Halfmann, Kiel, Sherry (David) Winkel, St. Anna, Don (Audrey Mayer) Halfmann, rural Elkhart Lake, Keith (Sharon Randolph) Halfmann, Wauwatosa; 13 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. ROBERT H. HALFMANN Robert H. Halfmann, age 70, of 1018 First Street, Kiel, died Tuesday morning, March 3, 1992, at his home after a brief illness. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. Rev. Thomas Leannah, Pastor, will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. He was born August 25, 1921 in the town of New Holstein, son of the late Matt J. and Catherine Rollmann Halfmann. He attended school at St. Anna. On June 21, 1945 he married Catherine Riesterer at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. He farmed in the town of New Holstein for 13 years, moving to Kiel in 1958. He was also employed at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein for 31 years, retiring in 1986. He enjoyed his retirement years visiting and helping his children with various projects. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and the church's mens club. He was also a church usher and was very active in various church functions. He was proud of being a blood donor. Hanke, 78 formerly of Manchester, Wis., died Saturday evening Nov. 4, 2000 at Calumet Homestead Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein where he had resided for the past three years. He was born December 23, 1921 in Charlesburg, son of the late August and Rose Knier Hanke. He attended Kiel School. Orville was a jeweler and watch repairman for many years both in Kiel and later moving to Milwaukee where he worked for Stone Jewelry until his retirement. After his retirement he moved to the Green Lake area. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during World War II. Orville enjoyed fishing and bowling. Survivors include one brother, Melvin (Agnes) Hanke of Kiel; four sisters, Bernice Neely of Clovis, New Mexico; Eileen Stemper of Shawano; LaVerne Nourigat of White Lake and Lucille Stumpges of Vista, Calif. MYRON D. HARRIER Myron (Mike) D. Harrier, 65, of 926 Fremont Street, Kiel, died Wednesday morning, October 3, 1990 at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton. He was born June 14, 1925 at Olivia, Minnesota, son of the late Bert and Edna Gehrt Harrier. He attended school in Minnesota. On December 31, 1952, he married Marcellena Bricko in Waukegan, Illinois. The deceased was born in Austria-Hungary on September 16, 1878 as Elizabeth Mueller; she came to Wisconsin in 1910 and was married that November. The couple located on a farm in the town of Rhine, and resided there until Mr. Hartmann's death on February 16, 1942, after which she sold her farm last fall and moved to the Anna M. Reiss Home in Sheboygan, where she had spent the last three months. Surviving is a brother, Michael Mueller of Madison. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, and at 10 o'clock services were held at the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church, with the Rev. F.X. FLORENTINE E. HARTMANN Florentine (Tina) Hartmann, 78, a former Kiel resident, died Tuesday at Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, where she had lived for 10 years. The former Florentine Casper was born July 5, 1908, in the town of Liberty (Manitowoc County), a daughter of John and Mary Hiem Casper. She attended public school there. On Nov. 10, 1935, she married Theodore Hartmann at St. Gregory Catholic Church at St. Nazianz. Mr. Hartmann died June 7, 1968. She was employed at A.A Laun Furniture Co. in Kiel for many years. Mrs. Hartmann was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel, the Christian Mothers Society and the Kiel VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leona Schroeder of Hilbert; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, John Casper of rural Valders and three sisters, Mrs. Edwina Schmitt of Kiel, Mrs. Catherine Casper of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Dorothy Meiselwitz of Sheboygan. A daughter, a brother and sister preceded her in death. A private funeral Mass will be offered at the Calumet Homestead in New Holstein. Bishop Arnold Cotey, assistant to the pastor at Ss. JOSEPHINE HARTMANN Mrs. Josephine Hartmann, 50, of 725 Chicago St., Kiel, died Friday afternoon at her home of an apparent heart attack. She was born March 19, 1921, at Mt. Calvary, daughter of Albert M. and Rosalia (Mehler) Kohlmann. The family later moved to St. Cloud where she attended the local schools. On June 21, 1941, she was married to Raymond C. Hartmann of Schleswig at the St. Clausius Catholic Church at St. Cloud. The couple operated the Hartmann homestead farm until 1956 when they moved to Kiel. Mr. Hartmann died on Aug. 12, 1961. She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church at Kiel and it's associated Christian Mother's Society. She is survived by her parents and three brothers, and was preceded in death by two brothers. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home at Kiel and at 10 a.m. at Ss. MARGARET HARTMANN Mrs. Margaret Hartmann who had been making her home with Mrs. Anna Kissinger at Elkhart Lake, passed away there Saturday morning after a lingering illness. Mrs. Hartmann was born in the town of Herman on June 30, 1868, the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Spettel. In May 1889, she was married to John Hartman. The couple located on a farm in the town of Schleswig, but after Mr. Hartman’s death in 1903 she moved to Kiel. Later she lived in New Holstein and Sheboygan, and for the past two and one-half years she has been living in Elkhart Lake. Among the survivors are five sons, Edward of New Holstein, Joseph of Sheboygan, Ted of Chilton, Albin of Marengo, Illinois, and Othmar of Brillion; four brothers, Edward, Henry, John and Jacob Spettel, all of Kiel and vicinity, and a sister, Miss Mary Spettel of Wilmette, Illinois. Also 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, and at 10 o’clock at the Ss. MARY HARTMANN Mrs. Mary Hartmann, 78, died on the homestead farm near Kiel after a heart attack Sunday morning. Funeral services will be conducted at the Meiselwitz funeral home at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning and at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church at 9:30. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was born Mary Laures in New Holstein in 1867. In 1891 she was married to Herman Hartmann. He died in 1942 and one son, Edward, died in 1945. Her six surviving children are: Mrs. Frank Held and Mrs. Romie Hahn of Milwaukee, Mrs. Fred Klaeser, Mrs. Edwin Schneider and Charles Hartman of Kiel and Raymond Hartmann who lives on the homestead farm near Kiel. RAYMOND HARTMANN KIEL FARMER KILLED IN FALL Instant death came to a well known Kiel resident, Raymond Hartman, 59, last Saturday when he fell from a tractor pulling a load of hay, and was crushed when run over by the wheels of the hay wagon. The tractor was being driven by a nine year old relative, Richard Schnell and the accident occurred on a town road about three miles northeast of Kiel. Death was attributed to a crushed chest and skull fracture following examination by a physician. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the SS. Peter and Paul church in Kiel with the Rev. George Kiefer officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Mr. Hartman was born in the Town of Schleswig, July 10, 1902, the son of Herman and Mary Laures Hartman. He attended SS. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Kiel. On June 21, 1941, he was married to Josephine Kohlmann of St. Cloud at St. Claudius Catholic Church. They lived on the family homestead in the Town of Schleswig until five years ago when they moved to Kiel. He had been working at Kiel Wooden Ware Co. ROSE HARTMANN Death claimed Mrs. John Hartmann at the hospital in Sheboygan on Sunday afternoon after a brief illness with convulsions. She was taken to the hospital Saturday, where a Caesarian operation was performed on the young woman in an effort to save her life, but in vain. Rosa Schnell was born in Bakersville, Wood county, August 22, 1899, reaching the age of 22 years, 3 months and 19 days. She was united in marriage to John Hartmann in Kiel, August 2 of this year and the couple made their home on Third st. in this city. She leaves her grief-stricken husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schnell of Schleswig, one brother and two sisters. The funeral took place on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with services at S. M. Rumpel tying the nuptial knot. The attendants were Katie Schnell, Albert Hartmann, Mathilda Hartmann and Joseph Schnell. The bride was gowned in white charmeuse and carried a shower bouquet of roses, while her attendants appeared in rose-colored dresses and carried bouquets of sweet peas and roses. A sumptuous wedding dinner was served at the bride's home after which a wedding dance followed at Geigel's Hall which was attended by a large number of invited guests. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm Hartmann and an industrious young farmer, while his bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schnell of Schleswig and popular with her friends. THEODORE P. HARTMANN Theodore P. Hartmann, 72, of 926 Fremont St., Kiel, died Friday evening at St. Nicholas Hospital. Born April 9, 1896 in the Town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, a son of the late John and Margaret Spettel Hartmann, he attended the district school. On Nov. 10, 1925, he was married to Florentine Casper of the Town of Liberty at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. They farmed in the Towns of Liberty, Schleswig and Chilton before moving to Kiel in 1956. He was employed at the A.A. Laun Furniture Co. in Kiel for 11 years before his retirement in 1961. Mr. Hartmann served with the U.S. Army during World War I, with Co. B, 56th Infantry from July, 1918, to July, 1919, serving overseas for nine months. He was a member of Tri-County VFW Post 6707 of Kiel, and Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Parish, Kiel. Survivors are his wife; one daughter, (name omitted for privacy); four grandchildren, and four brothers, Edward of Manitowoc, Joseph of Sheboygan, Albin of Marengo Ill, and Othmar of Brillion. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. George (Marion) Christel, in August, 1966. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Ss. He had been making his home with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Schilling, and was a resident of Sheboygan for the past 13 years. Mr. Hartman was born April 13, 1871, in the town of Schleswig, and was married to Augusta Wagner on June 2, 1896, the couple settling on a farm near Osmanand later moving to a farm in town Schleswig, where they resided for 12 years. They came to Sheboygan in 1929. His wife passed away on June 7, 1934, and a daughter, Mrs. Ed. (Anna) Hoefler, passed away in March of this year. Survivors are eight children, Mrs. William (Adelheit) Nettling, Mrs. John (Mathilda) Nettling, Mrs. Reuben (Lena) Schilling, John and Bernhard of Sheboygan, Mrs. William (Erma) Willihnganz of Wauwatosa, Mrs. Clarence (Agnes) Weiskopf of Kiel, and Albert of Meggers; one brother, Anton Hartmann, of Oshkosh; 31grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. JOSEPH HAUCH Joseph M. Hauch, 83, of 711 3rd St., Kiel, died Thursday evening at Calumet Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Saturday. He was born June 2, 1889, in the Town of Meeme, son of the late Michael and Anna Stein Hauch. He attended St. Fidelis Catholic School at Spring Valley. Mr. Hauch engaged in farming with his brother, William, in Meeme until 1949 when he moved to Kiel where he continued to make his home with his brother and his wife. He was employed at the A.A. Laun Furniture Co., Kiel, until retirement. He was a World War I veteran. Mr. Hauch was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Kiel, its Holy Name Society and a member of the Kiel Senior Citizens. The brother, William, survives. He was preceded in death by five brothers. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ss. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Francis Kerscher, pastor, celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. ROSE HAUCH Rose Hauch age 93, formerly of Kiel died Friday evening, June 16, 2006 at Willowdale Nursing Home, New Holstein where she had been a resident for the past 12 days. The former Rose Schad, born March 12, 1913 in School Hill, daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Knier Schad. She graduated from Holy Trinity Grade School in School Hill. On October 11, 1934 she married William Hauch at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill. After their marriage, the couple farmed in Spring Valley for approximately 30 years when they moved to Kiel. William died August 27, 1988. Rose was employed at the former Hansen Glove Factory in Kiel for many years. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and the Christian Women. Survivors include 2 brothers, Clarence Schad of St. Nazianz and Max (Catherine) Schad of Sheboygan; 2 sisters, Marie Fessler of rural Kiel and Theresa Escher of Mission, Texas. Also survived by 4 nieces and 9 nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Edmund, John, Theodore and Leonard Schad. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Ss. WILLIAM A. HAUCH William A. Hauch, 91, of 711 Third St., Kiel, died Saturday morning at Willowdale Nursing Home, New Holstein, where he was a resident for the past three weeks. He was born on March 6, 1897 in the Town of Meeme, son of the late Michael and Anna (Steiner) Hauch. He attended St. Fidelas School in the Town of Meeme. On Oct. 11, 1934 he was married to Rose Schad at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in School Hill. Mr. Hauch farmed on the family homestead in the town of Meeme until 1919 when they moved to Kiel. He was employed at the former Kiel Bottling Works until his retirement. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1984. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and the church’s Christian Men’s Society. Survivors are his wife, Rose, of Kiel and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six brothers. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, the Rev. Thomas Leannah, pastor, officiating. JOHN HAUMSCHILD Interment for John, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. James Haumschild, 908 Fremont St., Kiel, took place in Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Thursday morning. JOSEF HAUPTMANL Oldest Resident Of City Of New Holstein Is Summoned. New Holstein, Wis. -(Special)- Joseph Hauptmanl, 94, the oldest resident of the city of New Holstein and one of the earliest settlers in this community, passed away this morning at 2 o'clock at his home here. He had been ailing for the past four months, having suffered a light stroke last September. Deceased was born in Tepel, Austria, one September 11, 1847, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Hauptmanl. In 1869, when he was 21 years old, he came to America and located in Kiel where he learned the shoemaker's trade. He was married to Miss Theresa Mueller on July 18, 1870, by the late Rev. Father Oswald, founder of the St. Nazianz college and colony. Mr. Hauptmanl operated a shoestore for 20 years at Meggers, and for 15 years after that operated an 80-acre farm two and a half miles southwest of New Holstein. He then retired and moved to Kiel and for the past nine years had been living with his daughter, Mrs. Anna Martin, at New Holstein. His wife preceded him in death on September 24, 1930. Survivors are his daughter, Mrs. Anna Martin of New Holstein; three grandsons and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. at the Meiselwitz Funeral home at Kiel, where friends may view the body from this evening on, and then will be held at the Holy Rosary Catholic church at New Holstein at 9 a.m. The Rev. THERESE HAUPTMANL Mrs. Joseph Hauptmanl End Comes at Home of Daughter at New Holstein Recently After an illness of some weeks’ duration, Mrs. Joseph Hauptmanl of the city passed away Wednesday, December 24, at 7 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Martin at New Holstein. “A good mother has been called to eternal rest.” Mrs. Hauptmanl had been injured at her home here in a fall on Thanksgiving Day, and when she failed to make a prompt recovery she was taken to the home of her daughter, where better care could be given her. All the best of care that was given her, however, was of no avail, and the end came the day before Christmas. She had reached the age of 82 years. The deceased, nee Theresa Mueller, was born February 11, 1848, in Marienbaden, Germany. When she was 18 years of age, she came alone to this country, coming directly to Marytown, where she was taken in by the Joseph Kobriger and John Heimerl families. On July 18, 1870 she was united in marriage to Joseph Hauptmanl, a resident of Manitowoc county. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fr. Oschwald at St. Nazianz. The couple made their home in Meggers, where Mr. Hauptmanl established a shoe repair shop. They lived in Meggers for 19 years, from where they moved to a farm near New Holstein, which they conducted for fifteen years. They then left the farm, spent several years at Elkhart Lake, and then moved to New Holstein to make their home with their daughter, Mrs. Anna Martin. For the past ten years they had made their home here in Kiel. Of the two children born to the couple, Mrs. Martin alone survives. The other daughter, Lizzie, died Nov. 11, 1885. She is also survived by three grandsons, Harry Martin of New Holstein, Arno Martin of New Holstein, and Norman Martin of Oklahoma, and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hauptmanl was a woman of a helpful and kindly disposition, and a host of friends mourn her passing. Funeral services were held Saturday morning from the SS. Peter and Paul church here, the Rev. Fr. A. Roder performing the last rites. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were: Henry Rach, Frank Klaeser, John Kautzer, Rud. Wendling, J. B. PATRICK J. HEALY Patrick J. Healey(sic), 44, South Franklin Street, Oconto Falls, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, November 4, of an apparent cerebral aneurysm. He was born January 21, 1945, to John and Bernice (Jurkowski) Healey in Milwaukee. He attended school in Milwaukee and was a graduate of Wonewoc High School with the class of 1964. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. On May 13, 1972, he married Patricia R. Schuh in Kiel. The couple came to Little Suamico area 16 years ago where he worked for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad. They moved to Oconto Falls six years ago. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one son, Kristopher, at home; his mother, Bernice E. Healey, James City, Florida; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Barbara Healey, Tucson, Arizona; Peggy and Ron Monat, Janesville; his mother-in-law, Wanda Schuh of Kiel, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Ed Lund of Fond du Lac; Marilyn and Bob Kienbaum of Kiel; Carol and Gary Schwefel of Eldorado; and Sandy and Mark Neils of Kiel. He was preceded in death by his father on June 16, 1986, and his father in Law, Eugene Schuh on July 3, 1986. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home, Oconto Falls, with the Rev. LESTER E. HEIMERMAN Lester E. Heimermann, 75, of Kiel, died Wednesday evening, March 10, 2010 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born November 21, 1934 in Charlesburg, son of the late Ludwig and Dorothy (Buechel) Heimermann. Lester attended parochial school in Charlesburg. On October 13, 1956 he married Donna Nett at St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg. He farmed the family farm and hauled milk the hard way, lifting every can, before being employed at Kohler Company, Chilton Metal Products and retired from Ameriquip in 1991 because of health issues. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and the I.A.M. He also was a member of various card clubs. Lester enjoyed spending time with his family, being asked questions about his middle name, "Egidius", playing cards, watching TV, going up North and traveling, fishing and driving antique tractors. ALOIS HEIN Kiel—(Special)— Alois J. Hein, 64, of Kiel, died at the Wisconsin General hospital in Madison at 5 a. m. today [Saturday 12 September 1936] after being confined for two weeks. He had been ailing for approximately two years. Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Tuesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral home, and at 9:30 o'clock at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church. The Rev. Mr. Hein was born near Elkhart Lake, Sheboygan county, on Feb. 2, 1872, the son of Anton and Minnie Hein. On Oct. 19, 1897, he married Miss Margaret Klauck of Kiel and the couple located in that community. For 30 years, he was employed at the [Kiel] wooden ware company, and for a period of ten years he operated a tavern in Kiel. Seven children were born, three of whom have preceded him in death. ANTON HEIN Anton Hein, one of Kiel's well-known citizens, passed away at his home in this city on Thursday of last week at the advanced age of 88 years. Decedent was born in Bavaria, Germany, November 13, 1834. As a young man he learned the cobbler's trade, and in 1868 was married to his wife Minna, who survives him. In 1871 the couple came to America, Mr. Hein going into the saloon business in Sheboygan county. In 1875 he established himself in Charlesburg in the saloon business, which he conducted seven years, when he came to Kiel. Here he also conducted a saloon for a number of years, was road superintendent and served the village eleven years as marshal. For the past 15 years he was troubled with failing eyesight, and for the last few years was almost totally blind. Besides his widow he is survived by three children, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; Four children have preceded him in death. Those living are: Alois in Kiel, John in Milwaukee and Lena in Evanston, Ill. The funeral took place on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, with services in the St. Peter and Paul's church, Rev. O. CHRISTIAN HEIN Christian Hein son of Anton Hein, died on Wednesday afternoon on the 23rd of October from tuberculosis. He was 24 years of age and the funeral will be Saturday. LEO (TIBBY) S. HEIN Leo (Tibby) S. Hein, 79, of 726 St. Paul Street, Kiel, died Monday morning, November 18, at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home, Sheboygan were he was a resident for one week. He was born October 18, 1912, in Kiel, son of the late Alois and Margaret (Klauck) Hein. He attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School and Kiel High School. On July 26, 1938, he married Lyanna Moritz at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. From 1929 to 1978 he worked at the Kiel Woodenware as a foreman and yard superintendent, retiring in 1978. His wife Lyanna preceded him in death on March 27, 1985. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and the Improved Order of Redmen/Manitowoc Tribe #49. LYANNA HEIN Lyanna Hein, 68, of 726 St. Paul St., Kiel, died Wednesday afternoon at Greendale Health Center in Sheboygan where she had resided for six days. She had been in ill health for the last year and a half. The former Lyanna Moritz was born Jan. 17, 1917, in Kiel, daughter of the late Anton and Anna Mahlich Moritz. She graduated from Kiel High School in 1934, and was married to Leo Hein on July 26, 1938 in Kiel. She was employed at Graef’s Drug Store, the Hansen Glove Factory and the Kiel Medicine Chest. She was also a radio dispatcher for the City of Kiel until retirement in 1982. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church and its Christian Mothers Society. Mrs. Hein is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Anna) Hickson of Milwaukee, and Mrs. John (Margie) Dedering of Kiel; one son, William, rural Valders; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; one sisters, Mrs. Frances Brieger and a brother, Manfred Moritz, both of Kiel. MARGARET HEIN Mrs. Margaret Hein Dies Saturday at Hospital Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Margaret Hein at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church with the Rev. George Kiefer officiating. She had been a resident of the Anna M. Reiss home for the past six months. She was born at Mequon, January 2, 1877, the daughter of John and Mary Klauck. Her parents moved to Kiel when she was a young girl and she had been a resident of Kiel since then. Her marriage to Alois Hein took place October 19, 1897. Mr. Hein died in September, 1936. MARIA MARGARETA HEIN Margaretha Hein passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Hein on Saturday evening after a five year illness of a lung disease. She was born April 13th 1882 and reached the age of 28 years, one month and 22 days. The burial is in the Catholic cemetery with Rev. Father Kolbe officiating. Born Dec. 10, 1898 in Kiel, he was a son of the late Alois and Margaret Klauck Hein. He attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School and Kiel High School. On July 1, 1924, he married the former Valentina Becker of Evansville, Ind. At Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. The couple lived in Chicago until 1932 when they moved to Kiel. VALENTINA M. HEIN Mrs. Valentina Hein, 74, of Kiel, widow of Norman, died early today at Rocky Knoll. The former Valentina Becker was born Jan. 7, 1900, a daughter of the late Valentine and Johanna Neuhaus Becker at Evansville, Ind. She moved to Chicago where she was married to Mr. Hein on July 1, 1924 at Holy Name Cathedral. The couple resided in Chicago until 1932 when they moved to Kiel. Mr. Hein died Oct. 29, 1969. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and its Christian Mothers Society. Survivors include two daughters (names omitted for privacy), eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Glen Harkens, Sarasota, Fla., and Mrs. Rena Kolb, Wadesville, Ind., and a brother, Edmund Becker, Falls Church, Va. A great-grandchild preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Church, preceded by brief family rites at 9:30 at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. WILHELMINA HEIN Called By Death On Saturday, Mrs. Anton Hein, and old-time resident of Kiel, was called to her reward at the Veterans' Home in Waupaca, death being due to a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Hein was born in Chemitz, Saxony, Germany, Oct. 6, 1848 and came to Wisconsin in 1863, locating in the town of Russell, where she was married to Anton Hein. Mr. Hein was Kiel's village marshal about 20 years ago and later conducted the saloon now owned by Joseph Schaller. He preceded her in death a year and a half ago. Several months ago Mrs. Hein sold her house in the city and went to Waupaca to live at the Veterans' Home, where death came. The remains were brought to Kiel, where burial took place on Tuesday, Rev. Roder officiated at the funeral services, which were held at St. Peter & Paul's church. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Three children survive her, namely: Miss Lena Hein of Kenilworth, Ill., who is spending the summer here, Alvis Hein of Kiel, and John Hein of Milwaukee. Also four grandchildren survive. - 1924
GEORGE A. HELF Town Schleswig Resident Passes Away On Sunday. Kiel. - George A. Helf, 66, a resident of the town of Schleswig, died late Sunday afternoon at his home, one and one-half miles east of here, following a lingering illness. Born Sept. 24, 1880, in Brothertown (Calumet county), the deceased was the son of Mathias and Gertrude Gilles Helf. He was married in June, 1907, to Miss Margaret Mihm of Mount Calvary. The couple resided for a number of years at Hilbert, where Mr. Helf operated a harness shop and later was engaged in farming. For the past 12 years they made their home in the town of Schleswig near Rockville. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Kiel. Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Mrs. George (Cecelia) Froming, New Holstein; Mrs. Frank (Doris) Mikolic, Sheboygan, and Miss Jane Helf, at home; four sons, Jerome and Marcel, Sheboygan; Aurel of Kiel and Gerald, at home; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph of Tacoma, Wash., and Jacob, Gillett, Wis., and one sister, Mrs. Anna Klunke, Plymouth. MARGARET HELF Mrs. Margaret Helf, 73, of 2316 N. 22nd St., died Sunday evening at St. Nicholas Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Mt. Calvary, Mrs. Helf was born June 23, 1883, the daughter of the late Gustave and Margaret Mihm. Her marriage to George Helf was solemnized at St. Claudius Church in St. Cloud on June 17, 1907. The couple operated a farm in Kiel for many years until the death of Mr. Helf in 1947 when Mrs. Helf came to Sheboygan to make her home. A member of St. Dominic Parish, she was also affiliated with its Christian Mothers Society and the Third Orer of St. Francis. Survivors are four sons, Jerome, Aurel, Marcel of Sheboygan, Gerald of Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. George (Cecilia) Froming of New Holstein, Mrs. Frank (Doris) Mikolic Jr. and Jeanne, Sheboygan; 18 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Henry Alber, Milwaukee. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, three brothers and three sisters. Marie Henschel, 85, a former Kiel resident died Saturday evening, Dec. 29, 2001 at the Calumet Homestead and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, where she had resided the past year. She is the former Marie Lulloff born Jan 17, 1916, daughter of the late Fred and Mary Kusterman Lulloff. She was a graduate of Kiel High School.On Oct. 5, 1937, she married Clarence “Henna” Henschel at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Kiel. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1991. Marie was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and the Christian Women’s Society. She enjoyed bowling in many leagues and attended many postal conventions with her husband. She also enjoyed traveling. Survivors include two sons, Fred (Barbara) Henschel, Plymouth, Tim (Jan) Henschel, Manitowoc; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three sisters, Monica Manz, Toni (Willard) Schnur all of Kiel, and Eleanor Helfert, Sheboygan. He was born on September 11, 1913 son of the late William and Elsa Heimermann(sic) Henschel. He was a 1931 graduate of Kiel High School. He also attended UW Madison for two years. On October 5, 1937 he married Marie Lulloff at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. He was employed at the Kiel Post office for 43 years, the last 20 years as Post Master, retiring in 1976. He was a very active in baseball and other sports in Kiel and the surrounding area. He is an inductee in the Lakeshore Hall of Fame. He was also very active in the bowling leagues in Kiel, serving as Secretary Treasurer of the Kiel Business Men’s Bowling League and the General Secretary for the Kiel City Bowling Association. He is a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic church Kiel and the National County and State Postal Association. Survivors include his wife Marie; two sons, Fred (Barbara) of Plymouth; Timothy (Janice) of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren. IDA HENSCHEL Mrs. Jacob Henschel, 77, died suddenly of an apparent heart attack Sunday evening at her home, 1033 7th St., Kiel. The former Ida Klauck was born near Kiel on June 11, 1888, the daughter of the late John Klauck and Kunegunde Winter Klauck. She attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Kiel and she was a member of that parish. Her marriage to Mr. Henschel of Town of Russell took place on May 9, 1908. The couple observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1958. JACOB HENSCHEL Jacob J. Henschel, 85, of 1033 Seventh St., Kiel, died early today at St. Nicholas Hospital. MARIAN C. SCHNEIDER HERR Marian “Petie” Schneider Herr, age 77, of 10432 Hwy 42 Newton, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon March 10, 2006 at her home. The former Marian Schwarz she was born March 28, 1928 in New Holstein daughter of the late John and Josephine Mueller Schwarz. She attended Holy Rosary grade school in New Holstein. On May 29, 1946 she married Robert A. Schneider. He died March 14, 1983. On November 16, 1991 she married Frederick “Fritz” Herr at St. Isadore Catholic Church in Osman. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in School Hill, Christian Mothers Society, was a former member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, Catholic Knights Branch 68 where she served as secretary and treasurer, also bowled in various bowing league. Marian enjoyed sewing, playing cards, bowling, cooking, playing organ and spending time with her family. The former Josephine Klotz was born April 17, 1894, in the town of New Holstein, a daughter of Adam and Clara Ehlenbeck Klotz. She attended St. Anna Catholic School, St. Anna. On January 7, 19114, she was married to Mr. Hertel at St. Anna Catholic, St. Anna. He died February 7, 1932. The couple had resided in Kiel since their marriage. Mrs. Hertel was a member of Ss. ROBERT HERTEL Robert Hertel Dies Sunday Well-Known Elkhart Lake Man Succumbs At Age of 85 (He was not 85) Robert Hertel, for 22 years an employee of the Kiel Furniture Co., passed away at his home here on Sunday morning. He would have been 42 years of age in March. Robert Peter Hertel was born March 30, 1890, in Sheboygan, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hertel. When he was but a few months old, his parents moved to a small farm at Millhome, where his father died in 1890. His mother, who later married died when her son was nine years of age. On the death of his mother, he was taken into the home of an uncle, Conrad Wagner, at Millhome. He attended the Ss. Peter and Paul parochial school here, and at the age of 16 began working in Kiel. About 1910 he began working at the Kiel Furniture Co. plant, where he held the position of superintendent for seven years. For the past 15 years he held the position of shipping clerk. He was united in marriage on January 7, 1914, to Miss Josephine Klotz, daughter of Mrs. Clara Klotz of St. Anna. He is survived by his widow, an only child, Inez, two half brothers, Edgar and Paul Laux, and a half sister, Mrs. Henry Lake, all of Colby. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 8:30 form the home at 427 North street, and at 9 o’clock from the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church, the Rev. F. A. Roder performing the last rites. ALFRED P. HOERTH Alfred “Al” P. Hoerth, 86, formerly of 18618 Steinthal Road, Kiel, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 8, 2000 at Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, where he resided for the past two years. He was born Oct. 4, 1914 in Brothertown, a son of the late Joseph and Mathilda Karl Hoerth. He attended school in Stockbridge and in the town of Chilton. On June 7, 1938 he married Florence Heimerl at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hilbert. Alfred farmed in the Town of Schleswig for over 50 years and also worked as a Navy welder at Manitowoc Shipbuilding during World War II. He worked for many years in the construction business in the Kiel area. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and a charter member of the Quiney and Brothertown fishing clubs. Al enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in his work shop. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Florence of New Holstein; seven children, Robert (Rose Ann) Hoerth of New Holstein, Marilyn (Michael) Steffen of New Holstein, LaVerne Bitts of Aurora, Ill., Rosalene (Tony) Lefeber of Armstrong, Kathleen (Joel) Bell of Racine, Richard (Chris) Hoerth of New Holstein and Thomas Hoerth of Whitefish Bay. FLORENCE HOERTH Florence M. Hoerth, 94, of 13621 Steinthal Road, Kiel died peacefully Easter Sunday morning, March 23, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the former Florence Heimerl born December 21, 1913 in Hilbert, daughter of the late Joseph & Mary Lauer Heimerl. She attended St. Mary's Grade school in Hilbert. On June 7, 1938 Florence married Alfred "Al" P. Hoerth at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hilbert. Alfred preceded her in death on November 8, 2000. The couple farmed for over 50 years in the Town of Schleswig. Florence was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and the Christian Women's Society. She also was a member of the Marian Devotions Prayer Group. Florence was a wonderful mother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, playing a good game of sheepshead and gardening. She is the former Gladys Zimmermann, born July 16, 1920, in the Town of Meeme, daughter of the late Carl and Marie Henning Zimmermann. Gladys attended Pigeon River school. She was employed at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein for 27 years retiring in 1982. Gladys was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and the Christian Women’s Society. She also was a member of the Kiel VFW Auxiliary and a former member of the Kiel bowling leagues. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, traveling, crafts and playing sheepshead. ISADORE HOERTH Isadore L. Hoerth, 56, Kiel, Route 2, town of New Holstein, died unexpectedly at the home of his son Norbert, Vandyne, Route 1, early Monday evening. He was visiting there with his wife. He was born on Aug. 27, 1898 near Jericho, the son of the late Carl and Adeline Burgart Hoerth. He attended school at Jericho. On Jan. 18, 1921, he was married to Miss Catherine Merill of the town of Chilton at Stockbridge. After their marriage they operated a farm near Jericho and moved to Louis Corners in 1945. In 1947 they moved to Kiel. He was employed at the Kiel Woodenware Co. and more recently at the Kiel Foundry. Survivors include his wife, two sons, three daughters (childrens' names omitted for privacy); two brothers, August of Eldorado; and John of Chilton; and five sisters, Sister Damian of Milwaukee, Mrs. William Selk, and Mrs. August Karl, St. Cloud; Mrs. Peter Karl and Mrs. Julius Konen, Fond du Lac. KATHERINE HOERTH Kiel Woman Is Killed And 3 Others Injured. Mrs. Catherine Hoerth, 52, widow of Isadore Hoerth, of Kiel was killed and her daughter and two grandchildren were injured seriously shortly after 8 o'clock Wednesday evening when their car left Highway 32 northwest of Howards Grove and smashed into a culvert. Dr. Reed M. Simpson, Sheboygan county coroner, stated that Mrs. Hoerth died of a skull fracture. In addition she had a fractured leg and other injuries. Although none of the occupants of the car were in condition to be questioned, the sheriff's department determined that the victim's daughter, was driving the 1949 Hudson sedan at the time of the mishap. The car had been off the roadway for 120 feet before crashing into the culvert. Also in the car were two children of the driver. All were taken to St. Nicholas Hospital by Rudy's ambulance. The victim's daughter, according to the attending physician, suffered cuts to the face and abrasions and contusions to both knees and ankles. X-rays show no fractures. The victim's granddaughter suffered two deep lacerations to the forehead and a fractured right upper arm and lower left leg. The victim's grandson escaped with numerous body bruises. Mrs. Hoerth's death was the ninth traffic fatality occurring in Sheboygan county this year. Mrs. Hoerth was born Aug. 26, 1902, at Stockbrige, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Diedrich) Merrill, and attended school there. She was married to Isadore Hoerth of Jericho on Jan. 18, 1921, and the couple locate on a farm near Jericho until 1947 when they moved to Kiel. Survivors are two sons and three daughters (names omitted for privacy), her mother, Mrs. Mary Merrill of Chilton; two brothers Joseph of Oshkosh, and Frank of Waukegan; four sisters, Sister Nicola of Manitowoc, Mrs. Gilbert Bowe of Brothertown, Mrs. Arthur Joas of Kiel, and Mrs. Orville Tuetz of Milwaukee. Her husband died in November, 1954, and her father, a sister and a brother also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Christian Mothers' Society of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Kiel, and members of the society will recite the rosary at the church Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home at Kiel and at 10 o'clock at Ss. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. F.X. Kheil officiating. HENRY HOLZER Henry Holzer, 72 of 530 Broadway, Kiel, died unexpectedly at his home early today. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack. Born at St. Nazianz on July 5, 1897, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Basel Holzer. He attended St. Gregory's School at St. Nazianz. On Oct. 20, 1931 he married the former Anne Marie Koenig of St. Nazianz at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. The couple located on the Holzer homestead in the Town of Eaton which they operated for 17 years. They moved to Kiel in 1948, where Mr. Holzer was employed at the A. A. Laun Furniture Co. until retiring in 1962. He was a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and the Catholic Order of Foresters 1529 of St. Nazianz. ANNA HOLZMANN Mrs. Anna Holzmann, aged 74, died at the Plymouth hospital on Sunday morning at 4 o’clock after a week's illness with pneumonia. The deceased, nee Holzmann, was born April 13, 1857 in the town of Rhine, where she spent her entire life with the exception of a short time when she and her husband lived in Marshfield. She was united in marriage to Andrew Holzmann, a cousin, Nov. 25, 1880. Survivors are three children, John, Margaret and Eva of the town of Rhine, a sister, Mrs. Geo. Schmahl, and two brothers, Michael and Lawrence on the homestead, and one brother John of Kiel. Her husband preceded her in death 35 years ago. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9:30 from the home, and at 10 o’clock at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church here, the Rev. A. Roder performing the last rites. Pallbearers were Mathias Becker, Frank Kretsch, Reinhard Becker, Frank Melger, Joseph Gilsdorf and John Holzschuh. Burial was in the church cemetery. Many relatives from Marshfield, Two Rivers, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Plymouth and Elkhart Lake attended the services.
ANNIE HOLZMANN Mrs. Annie Holzman, 76, a resident of the town of Rhine, died early Saturday evening at her farm home, five miles southeast of Kiel. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Jocke, she was born May 20, 1874, in the town of Russell, and was married to Lawrence Holzman at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church at Kiel on July 7, 1897. Since their marriage, the couple made their home on the farm in the town of Rhine. Mrs. Holzman was a member of the Christian Mothers' society of Ss. Peter and Paul parish. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Edwina Holzschuh, and a son, Larry, both of the town of Rhine. Eight grandchildren also survive. Her husband died in January, 1943, and her parents and one sister also preceded her in death. Mrs. Holzman's death occurred on the 24th anniversary of the death of her mother. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel, and at Ss. Peter and Paul church. The Rev. F.X. Kheil, pastor, will officiate. CONRAD HOLZMANN Death claimed Conrad Holzmann, and old-time resident of the town of Rhine, on Wednesday morning, after several years' illness with kidney trouble. Deceased was 58 years old and unmarried. He is survived by three brothers: John of Kiel, Michael and Lorenz of Rhine, where the deceased made his home; and two sisters, Mrs. Geo. Schmahl and Mrs. Mannie Holzmann of Rhine. The funeral will be held on Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the home, with services in the Catholic church of Kiel at 10:00, Rev. O. Kolbe officiating. EVA HOLZMANN Miss Eva Holzmann, 72, a resident of the Town of Rhine, died at 8:40 a. m. today at St Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, following several weeks illness. She was born Nov. 7, 1880, near Stratford. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Holzmann. As a child she moved with her parents to the Town of Rhine. There are no immediate survivors. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, and at 10 a. m. at the Ss. JOHANN HOLZMANN (d. 1902) John Holzmann, one of the oldest immigrants of Town Rhine passed away on Sunday, June 29th at the age of 76 years. He was born in Koengsreich Baiern, Germany and came to America in 1885. The same year he married Margaretha Wieseckel in New York and two years later they moved to Town Rhine where they have lived since. He is survived by his wife, 4 sons and 3 daughters. The deceased first saw the light of the world in Dorme, Bavaria on January 13, 1826, and came to America in 1855 and married his wife, Margarete nee Wieseckel in the same year in New York where they lived for two years before moving to Wisconsin and settling in town Rhine where they have lived ever since. The marriage was blessed with seven children, four sons and three daughters, who all live in Wisconsin and with their mother mourn their fathers’ passing. The deceased was a loving husband and father, and was held in high regard by his neighbors and friends. MARGARETA HOLZMANN ("Maggie") After a complication of diseases and having undergone a goitre operation December 6th, 1932, from which she never fully recovered, Miss Margareta Holzmann, aged 47, passed away at her home in the town of Rhine five miles southeast of Kiel on Sunday morning at 3 o'clock. The deceased was born in Roselville, Marathon County, September 10, 1885, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Holzmann. At the age of 10 she came to the town of Rhine with her parents and located on the Holzmann homestead where they have resided ever since and where the deceased passed away. Survivors are a brother John and one sister, Miss Eva, both on the homestead in the town of Rhine and also a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral was held from the home at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning and at 10:00 o'clock with services at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church at Kiel. The Rev. Fr. J. J. Esdepsky officiated and burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery near here. - January 1933
MARGARETHA HOLZMANN (d. 1908) Mrs. Margaretha Holzmann (nee Wieswckel) died at her home in Town Rhine at the age of 77 years. She was born August 6th, 1831 in Bayern, Germany and came to America in 1855 and was married to John Holzmann in New York in the same year. After some years they moved to Town Rhine. MICHAEL HOLZMANN Kiel – Michael Holzmann, aged 76, town of Rhine farmer, passed away very suddenly on the homestead farm in the town of Rhine Wednesday, apparently from a heart attack. The deceased, the son of John and Margaretha Holzmann, was born on the Holzmann homestead farm in Rhine township where he passed away, Nov. 26, 1863, and as a youth attended the district school in the town of Rhine and the Catholic school in Kiel. Upon completing the elementary schools he continued to work on his father’s farm, where he spent his entire life. He is survived by two brothers, John Holzmann of Kiel and Lawrence, who also resided on the homestead farm in Rhine. One brother, Conrad and three sisters, Mrs. George Schmahl and Mrs. William Beuchel and Mrs. Anna Holzmann preceded him in death. Elkhart Lake. - Mrs. John Holzshuh passed away Monday morning at 9 o'clock at her home located two miles northeast of Elkhart Lake, after a lingering illness of two years' duration. Mrs. Holzshuh, whose maiden name was Constance Becker, was born February 16, 1864, a daughter of pioneer settlers of the town of Rhine. The latter are, Christ Holzshuh of Marshfield, Casper, Harry, Elmer and Agnes, at home; Mrs. John T. Hume of Chilton, and Mrs. Crawford Allen of Chicago. ELMER HOLZSCHUH Two on Motorcycle Killed Near Sheboygan. Sheboygan, Wis.-(AP)— Two persons were killed near here Saturday night in the collision of a motorcycle and an auto. The dead were Elmer Holzschuh, 37, Rt. 1, Elkhart Lake, and Isabelle Prange, 15, Rt 3, Sheboygan. Holzschuh and Miss Prange were riding on the motorcycle when it collided with a car driven by Theodore Baumgartner, Kohler, on a curve on Highway 42 about eight miles northeast of Sheboygan. On November 11, 1896 she was united in marriage with Nicholas Huberty, also of St. Anna, and for ten years following their marriage they resided at Wisconsin Rapids. For the past 27 years the family has resided here, Mr. Huberty passing away in November 1916. He married the former Hildegard Klapperich May 5, 1925, at the St. Anne Catholic Church in the Town of St. Anna. Mr. Huberty moved to Milwaukee in 1951, where he worked for the American Can Co. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Milwaukee and the church men's Foresters group. JAMES HUBERTY James Huberty, 55, of 737 Sheboygan Street, Kiel, was pronounced dead on arrival at Calumet Memorial hospital, Chilton, after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born May 21, 1926, in Kiel, a son of the late Hugo and Hildegarde Klapperich Huberty. He graduated from Kiel High School in 1944. Mr. Huberty served in the US Navy’s air corps in the Pacific Theater during World War II. On May 21, 1947 he married Dorothy Keller at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Kiel. He was employed at H. G. Weber Co., Kiel. Mr. Huberty was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Kiel VFW Post No. 6707, the Kiel Fish and Game Association, the National Rifle Association, and was affiliated with the Kiel Boy Scouts for seven years as a Webelos leader. FLORENTINE F. ISELY Florentine F. "Tina" Isely, age 79, of Kiel, passed away surrounded by her devoted family on Friday morning, June 19, 2009 at her home. She was the former Florentine F. Voelker born August 26, 1929 in Mackville, WI, daughter of the late Joseph and Irma Korb Voelker. On December 29, 1951 she pledged her love into marriage with Richard L. "Dick" Isely Sr. at Fort Bragg, NC. The couple moved to Milwaukee in 1954 and in 1967 they moved to Mt. Calvary where they managed the Community Hall. In 1968, Tina worked together with her husband Dick, establishing and co-founded "Dick & Tina's" Tavern for 26 years in the City of Kiel. While working in the tavern patrons soon became friends. Tina was a loving wife, supportive mother and was very proud of her three sons. Family was her passion. She was a gentle listener to each and every one of her children, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she absolutely adored all, and who all cherished her. She had a gracious soul towards all. Her enjoyment was to make sure everyone who came into her home felt welcomed and always had plenty to eat and drink. Tina's crafts were cooking the family favorite recipes, crocheting, knitting, woodworking and home improvement projects. After her well-deserved retirement, Tina enjoyed her time traveling through the United States and spending her winters in Florida with her husband, Dick. RICHARD L. ISELY Richard L. Isely Sr, 80, of Kiel died unexpectedly March 11, 2012 at the Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. He was born January 22, 1932 in Milwaukee son of the late Benjamin and Catherine (Bradley) Isely. Dick was a graduate of North Division High School in Milwaukee. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving with the 82nd Airborne from 1951 until 1954. On December 29, 1951 Dick pledged his love to the former Florentine "Tina" Voelker at Camp Breckinridge, KY. The couple moved to Milwaukee in 1954 and in 1967 they moved to Mt. Calvary where they managed the Community Hall. In 1968, Dick working together with his wife Tina, established and co-founded "Dick & Tina's" Tavern for 26 years in the City of Kiel. Tina preceded him in death on June 19, 2009. Dick was very involved in the bowling, pool, bean bags and horse shoes leagues that he and Tina sponsored. He also liked to fish and together with Tina enjoyed traveling throughout the US. He was a member of American Legion Post #124 of New Holstein, and a former commander of Post #99 of Kiel. He served as a Board member of the Calumet County Tavern League and was a past member of the Kiel Lions. Survivors include his three sons: Joseph (Geneva) Isely of Kiel, Richard Jr. (Barbara) Isely of Kiel, Daniel (Monica) Isely of Katy, TX, six grandchildren, (private), and two great grandchildren: (private). EDWARD JEANTY Mr. Edward N. Jeanty, 87, of 515 Fremont St., Kiel, died Monday afternoon at his home after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 26, 1899, in the town of Russell, son of the late Victor and Mary Wieseckel Jeanty. He attended the catholic school in St. Anna. On Feb. 10, 1945, he married Hilda Menne at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. They farmed in the Town of Russell until 1947, when they moved to Kiel, and he worked for Kiel Frame Co for 25 years. Mr. Jeanty retired in 1972. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Kiel, and its Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. HILDA M. JEANTY Hilda M. Jeanty, formerly of Kiel, died Sunday, April 14, 1994 at Chilton Village Nursing Home, Chilton. She is the former Hilda Menne, born June 30, 1905 in Kiel. She is a daughter of the late Phillip and Caroline Becker Menne. She attended Kiel Public school and graduated from Kiel High School in 1923. On Feb. 10, 1945 she married Edward Jeanty at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. The couple farmed in the town of Russell until 1947 when they moved to Kiel. Mrs. Jeanty worked for the Commonwealth Telephone Co. for 15 years and was employed at Roeck’s Bakery for 24 years. She retired in 1973. She was a member of Sts. ORVILLE "JACK" JEANTY Orville V. "Jack" Jeanty Orville V. "Jack" Jeanty, age 77, of 1122 Dewey St., Kiel, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 23, 2007, at St. Nicholas Hospital, with his family at his side. He was born Nov. 22, 1929 in Kiel, son of the late Joseph and Olive Nett Jeanty. Orville was a graduate of Kiel High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. On Nov. 24, 1951, he married Elaine Voss at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. His wife Elaine preceded him in death on May 13, 1990. Orville was employed at Kohler Company for 40 years, retiring in 1992. He also worked part-time at Tri-County Co-op in Kiel for a number of years. He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club and the Disabled American Veterans. He volunteered his services as a driver for the Kiel Senior Citizens. DEAN J. JOAS Dean James Joas, age 45, of Howards Grove, passed away Sunday Evening July 2, 2006 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Sheboygan on July 14, 1960, a son of James Joas and Lou Ann Joas-Neumeyer. Dean graduated from North High School in Sheboygan in 1978. After his graduation, Dean began his career with Sheboygan Yamaha, Inc. Over the years, he worked in various capacities leading to his current position of General Manager, Dean continued pursuing his career by attending educational workshops and seminars across the United States. He was an avid enthusiast of motorcycle and snowmobile racing. Dean's racing career started at the age of 10, racing motocross until the age of 17 where he started road racing. He won the AMA Grand National Championship carrying the #1 plate in 1987. He especially enjoyed racing at his "home track", Road America in Elkhart Lake. Dean also traveled to North Dakota, Minnesota and Michigan to race USCC Master Circuit for Snowmobile Racing, finishing in second place this past season. JAMES A. JOAS James A. Joas, 70, of Calumetville, formerly of Sheboygan, died Sunday, July 27, 2008. He was the son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Merrill) Joas, born June 1, 1938 in Stockbridge. He graduated from Kiel High School in 1956 at which time he joined the Navy, serving on the USS Coney for two years. In his early years James was a car salesman at Elm City Motors and was employed at Tecumseh, prior to joining Wisconsin Public Service for eight years. In 1969 Jim started a business selling snowmobiles which grew into Sheboygan Yamaha Motorsports which he owned and operated for 38 years. Jim sold the business and retired on Feb. 1, 2007. Jim was a charter member of the Lakeshore Two Cylinder Antique Tractor Club and a member of the Calumetville Antique Tractor Club as Jim had a hobby of collecting and showing John Deere tractors and hit-n-miss motors. To satisfy his competitive nature Jim enjoyed participating in antique tractor pulls, and has many trophies to show for his efforts. He was a charter member of the Louis Corners Sno-Birds Snowmobile club as well as a member of the Howard's Grove Snowdrifters and Ranger City Riders Snowmobile Club of Amberg. He enjoyed the sport of snowmobiling and was instrumental in getting the recreation trail along Hwy 28 open for snow- mobiling. Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and water sports along with friends and family. He also was a great adventurer and l oved to travel. He was also a member of the Howard's Grove VFW Post #9924. Jim is survived by his two brothers, nephews, nieces, and many, many special friends and relatives. In addition to his parents, Jim was also preceded in death by his son, Dean and nephew, Scott Joas. In 1969 Jim started a business selling snowmobiles which grew into Sheboygan Yamaha Motorsports which he owned and operated for 38 years. On February 1, 2007 Jim sold the business and retired. Jim was a charter member of the Lakeshore Two Cylinder Antique Tractor Club and a member of the Calumetville Antique Tractor Club as Jim had a hobby of collecting and showing John Deere tractors and hit-n-miss motors. To satisfy his competitive nature Jim enjoyed participating in antique tractor pulls, and has many trophies to show for his efforts. He was a charter member of the Louis Corners Sno Birds Snowmobile Club as well as a member of the Howard's Grove Snowdrifters and Ranger City Riders Snowmobile Club of Amberg. He enjoyed the sport of snowmobiling and was instrumental in getting the recreation trail along Hwy 28 open for snowmobiling. Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and water sports along with friends and family. He also was a great adventurer and loved to travel. SCOTT JOAS A funeral Mass for Scott Joas, 21, of 11703 Lax Chapel Road, Kiel, who died Friday from injuries received in an automobile accident, will be celebrated at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. The Rev. Thomas Leannah, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Joas was a passenger in a car which crashed early Friday morning on County Trunk X in southwestern Manitowoc County. He was born Jan. 20, 1965, in Sheboygan, the son of William and Carol Schmitz Joas. He attended Ss. Peter and Paul School in Kiel and was a 1983 graduate of Kiel High School. Mr. Joas farmed with his grandfather in the town of Schleswig. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church and Louis Corners Snowmobile Club. Survivors include his parents; a brother and sister, Mark and Lori, both at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Joas of rural Kiel; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Josephine Schmitz of Sheboygan. FRANK JOHST Frank P. Johst, 68, of R. 2, Kiel, a retired Town of Schleswig farmer, died Monday morning at St. Mary Hospital, Milwaukee, where he was admitted Friday. He was born Aug. 1, 1906 in Kiel, the son of the late John and Susanna LaCroix Johst. He attended Ss. Peter and Paul Parochial School in Kiel and Kiel High School. On Nov. 30, 1934 he married Loretta Anhalt at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. After their marriage the couple engaged in farming in the Town of Schleswig until retiring two years ago. Mr. Johst was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, its Holy Name Society and the Senior citizens of Kiel. Survivors are his widow; name of daughter withheld for privacy, and six grandchildren. An infant daughter and a brother preceded him in death. The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church preceded by family rites at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Francis Kerscher, pastor, will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. FRANZ JOHST On Friday afternoon about 2:00 PM, Mr. Franz Johst, a long time resident of Kiel, died at his home from a heart attack after an eight year long illness at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 12 days. The deceased was born on July 17, 1844 in Oppenheim, near Mainz, Hessen-Darmstad, Germany and came to America in 1867 where he first settled in the Town of Rhine. Two years later he went to Chicago, where he married Catharine Kramer. Eleven years later the family returned to the Town of Rhine, and for the past 16 years they have resided in Kiel, where Mr. Johst worked in the table factory, until last year when his health and age made it necessary for him to retire. The marriage was blessed with nine children, of which three and his wife survive him, namely, John and Frank Johst of Kiel, and Mrs. Anton Frenzel who lives in Washington. The burial took place on Tuesday morning at the Catholic Cemetery after a service in the church officiated by Father Kolbe.
JOHN JOHST Funeral services for John Johst, 80, were held Tuesday morning from S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic church, with the Rev. F. X. Kheil in charge. He died at his farm home Friday afternoon. He was born in Chicago December 22, 1873 and came to this community when he was seven years of age. September 26, 1905, he married Susan LaCroix at the S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic church, and they settled here. He was employed at the Kiel Furniture company for 27 years. In 1932 they purchased their farm home north of Kiel where he died. He was a member of the S. S. Peter and Paul church. Survivors include his wife and two sons, Frank and Walter, both at home. He has one sister, Mrs. Catherine Franzel of Montana. KATHARINA JOHST CALLED BY DEATH. Mrs. Catherina Johst, widow of the late Franz Johst, passed away Monday morning at 9 o’clock at the home of her son John. The deceased, nee Kraemer, had been ill with dropsy of the heart for a long time, but death was due to a stroke which she suffered a short time before her demise. Mrs. Johst was a native of Trier, Germany where she was born August 9, 1842. She came to America in 1869, locating in Chicago, where she was married to Franz Johst in 1870. The family came to Sheboygan in 1880, and settled in Kiel in 1899, where Mrs. Johst had since resided. Her husband died six years ago. 9 children were born in the family, of whom six have preceded their parents in death. The surviving children are John Johst in Kiel, Frank Joseph in Sheboygan and Mrs. Anton Frenzel in Montana. She also 1eaves five grandchildren. The funeral took place Wednesday forenoon, with services in St. Peter and Paul’s church, Rev. M. Rumpel officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. - 1921
PETER B. JOHST On Sunday afternoon at the home of his parents Mr. Peter B. Johst died from a heat stroke. His father found his unresponsive body lying on the bed at 4 o’clock. The deceased had been at the laying of the corner stone of the basement of the old Catholic Church, and had taken part in the noon meal, and it was afternoon when he returned home and laid down on his bed on the second story of the house. His brother looked in on him later and found him sleeping. Later they heard him moving around in this room. Since he had not come down by 4 o’clock his father went up to check if he was not feeling well, and found his corpse. The doctor who was called immediately determined that the cause of death was heat stroke. His corpse had a temperature of 109 degrees. Peter Johst was born on September 18, 1881 in Town Rhine and was in his 31st year of life. He was deaf and dumb and worked in a factory for the past 12 years. He is survived by his parents and numerous siblings. The burial took place on Wednesday morning at the St. Peter and Paul Church Cemetery with Father Kolbe officiating. SUSANNA JOHST Mrs. John Johst, 81, of R. 2, Kiel, died Monday afternoon at St. Nicholas Hospital where she had been a patient for the past five days. The former Susan LaCroix was born Jan. 31, 1881, at St. Anna, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth LaCroix. She attended district schools at St. Anna and later worked in Milwaukee for many years. On Sept. 26, 1905, she married John Johst at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. They lived in Kiel until 1932 when they moved to their present home. Mr. Johst, a painter, preceded her in death in 1954. She was a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and of the Christian Mothers Society of the parish. Surviving are two sons, Frank and Walter, both of R. 2 Kiel; one grandchild; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Paul of Kiel and Edward of Staten Island, N.Y.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Schram, St. Nazianz, and Mrs. Ida Schram, Two Rivers. Two sisters also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, following brief rites at 9 o’clock at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel. The Rev. WALTER H. JOHST Walter H. Johst, 54, of Rt. 2, Kiel, Town of Schleswig farmer, died Saturday night at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan. He had been ill nine months. MARIE JUGENHEIMER Marie P. Jugenheimer, 85, of 23030 Hwy 57, Kiel, died Tuesday evening, August 29, 1995, at her home after a brief illness. She is the former Marie Beumler, born November 28, 1919 in Sheboygan Falls, a daughter of the late Anton and Johanna Van De Loo Beumler. She attended SS. Peter and Paul Grade school, Kiel. Her husband, Lester preceded her in death on July 9, 1970. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and the Christian Mother’s Society. Marie enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading. Survivors include one son, Lester Jr. (Sue), Rogers, Ark.; one daughter, Dorothy (Donald) Muhs, rural Kiel; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one sister, Dorothy Heus, St. Anna. ELEANORE K. JUNK Eleanore K. Junk Dies at Manitowoc Miss Eleanore Kathryn Junk passed away at the Holy Family hospital in Manitowoc, where she had been ill for the past ten days. She is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Junk of this city. The deceased was born in the city of Kiel, April 23, 1906, and attended the Sts. Peter and Paul Parochial school here. For several years she attended school at New Holstein, where she lived with her parents, and in June, 1925, she graduated from the Kiel high school. In the fall of the same year she entered the Holy Family hospital at Manitowoc as a student nurse, from which institution she graduated with high honors. Besides her parents, she is survived by one sister, Miss Esther. Funeral services were to be held on Thursday morning at 8 o'clock from the Sts. Peter and Paul church, with the Rev. Fr. A. Mr. Junk had gone to the Meiselwitz Funeral Homee to view the body of his nephew, Hubert Mahloch, when he was suddenly stricken by a heart attack. The Holy Name Society of the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church was reciting the rosary for Mr. Mahloch at the time. Mr. Junk was seated between his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reichardt, when he was stricken. The deceased, the son of John and Mary Stephany Junk, was born in the town of Meeme December 31, 1872. He attended the Holy Trinity parochial school at School Hill, and after completing his education became a carpenter. He was employed from 1901 to 1918 by the Kiel Mfg. Company, from 1918 to 1922 by the Lauson Mfg. Co. at New Holstein, and since that time by the A. A. Laun Furniture Company of this city, where he served as foreman of the machine department. On July 11, 1905, Mr. Junk was married to Katherine Mahloch of this city, who survives with the daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Esther) Reichardt; one grandchild; his mother, Mrs. Katherine Junk, aged 84, of Racine, and one sister, Mrs. Robert Walshof Racine. Two daughters have preceded him in death. Mr. Junk was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin and a parishoner of the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church. Funeral services were conducted this Thursday morning at 9:30 a. m. from the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, with services at 10 o’clock at the church. NICHOLAS J. JUNK Nicholas J. Junk, 83, of Kiel, died Sunday evening, Oct. 27, 2002 at his home. He was born Feb. 23, 1919 in Cleveland, the son of the late William and Mary Kress Junk. He attended St. Wendell Catholic School. Nicky was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. On July 1, 1950, he married Leona B. Muehlbauer at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. Leona preceded him in death on Nov. 29, 1994. Nicky worked for Lulloff True-Value Hardware in Kiel for more than 57 years. He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, serving as an usher for more than 50 years and was a member of the Catholic Knights. Survivors include his children, William Junk of Waterford and Lori (Paul) Maciejewski of Jackson and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Kelsey and Marisa. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 2 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel with the Rev.
