OSWALD, JOHN - buyer KELLNER FARM OF 176 ACRES SOLD, $30,000 Property Bought By John Oswald From Trustee Negotiations were close late yesterday by the East Wisconsin Trustee Co. as trustee in the Kellner bankruptcy, for sale of the Kellnersville farm of the Kellners to John Oswald of the town of Franklin. Transfer of the property was approved by Referee Prescott and will be made at once. Mr. Oswald, who resides about three miles from Kellnersville location of his new property, paid $30,000 for the farm and personal property which was included in the deal. This was the price fixed by the referee yesterday morning at the hearing when an order was issued for sale of the property at public auction if this figure could not be secured at private sale. Blooded Stock on Farm. Included in the sale of the farm is twenty-five head of blooded cattle owned by M. Kellner, chiefly Holsteins. The stock had given the Kellner farm a wide reputation in the state. In addition there are six head of horses and a large amount of farm machinery, hay and grain. Farm of 176 Acres The farm embraces 176 acres of land, all of which is well improved and largely under cultivation there being some timber land also. PENDLETON, N. - buyer GREAT SALE.-One of the heaviest sales of property ever made here, was made on Friday last. Mr. N. Pendleton purchased the whole Isaac Taylor interest in the lumbering business, formerly conducted under the name of Taylor & Pendleton, and pays for the same $55,000. The property includes all the lumber now on hand, the vessels and 14,000 acres pine lands on the West Two Rivers, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. Mr. Taylor yet owns somewhere in the neighborhood 7,000 or 8,000 acres in pine on the East Two Rivers, and has in company with Mr. Stauson, about 15,000 acres at Kewaunee, with one steam mill and two water mills, to eat up the pine.
