Sam - State Senator HANSEN, Carl - Assemblyman - First District MURPHY, P.J. - Assemblyman - Second District BREEDERS ASSOCIATION From the Eighth Manitowoc County Annual 1913-1914 During the past year two breeders associations were organized, the Holstein breeders with about 90 members, and the Guernsey breeders with about 50 members. These associations are in existence about a half a year but during this short time have accomplished some excellent results in the way of pure bred cattle. The breeders already have become known outside of the county and state and before a few years have lapsed Manitowoc county will be known as a center for pure breds. Both associations hold pienies during the summer, cuts of which occur elsewhere in this annual.
