Mary Taddy Becomes Bride In Double Ring Ceremony Service Read In Two Rivers Rings and vows were exchanged this morning at St. Luke's Catholic church, Two Rivers, when Miss Mary Taddy, daughter of the Paul F. Taddys of that city, and Ralph W. Schroeder of Manitowoc were married by the Very Rev. Dean C.V. Hugo before a flower decked altar. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by a close friend, Miss Mary Seidl of Two Rivers. The bridegroom had asked Floyd Ruzek of Manitowoc to be his best man. Both the bride and her attendant wore gowns of white. The bride's brocaded slipper satin was fashioned in colonial style, with fitted bodice, heart shaped neckline and puffed sleeves. Chantilly lace inserts trimmed the dress from neckline to the hem of the short train, and the same lace edged the fingertip veil of illusion caught in the bride's dark hair with a cluster of orange blossoms. She carried a sheaf of calla lilies and wore as her only jewelry a double strand of pearls given her by the bridegroom. Miss Seidl's gown was of taffeta, also made with a snug basque and graceful skirt trimmed with inserts of lace. Lace also edged the short puffed sleeves and square neckline. Three daffodils topped Miss Seidl's blond curls, and she carried a bouquet of daffodils and other spring flowers tied with a yellow bow. The gold cross at her throat was a gift of the bride. Both the mother of the bride and the mother of the bridegroom, Mrs. E.C. Schroeder of Manitowoc, wore corsages of pink and white carnations. Sixty guests attended the reception at the Taddy home which followed a luncheon for members of the immediate families. A dinner dance will be given this evening at Hessel's. Out of town guests included Messrs. and Mmes. Russell Eggert, Berlin Schroeder and Floyd Ruzek, all of Manitowoc. Young Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder left this evening for a week's trip to Chicago, after which they will be at home at the new Custerdale apartment.
