On this 27th day of July, A.D. 1867, upon reading and filing the petition of 
Charles Winklemiller, Administrator of the the estate of said deceased stating 
that he has fully administered said estate and praying that a time and place be 
appointed to hear and examine his account of his administration.
It is ordered, that said application be heard and said account examined before 
me, at the Probate Office, in the town and county of Manitowoc, on the 19th 
day of August, A.D. 1867, at 10 o'clock A.M.
And be it further Ordered, that notice of such application and hearing be given 
by publishing a copy of this order for three successive weeks, once in each week, 
in the Manitowoc Tribune, a newspaper printed in said Town and County prior to 
said day of hearing.

Bilharz-Rahr.  In this city on Saturday December 31, by Rev. 
Mr. Rogers, Mr. Oscar Bilharz of Freiberg, Saxony, and Miss 
Blanche Rahr of this city.
Mr. Bilharz is a mining engineer and is interested in mines in 
the west.  He has traveled extensively throughout that section 
and is a young man of fine ability.  Of his bride it is unnecessary 
to speak to Manitowoc people.  She has always been a favorite 
because of her many excellent qualities.
The ceremony was witnessed only by relatives and a few intimate 
friends.  The young couple left on a wedding tour.  They will 
make their home in Hillsborough, New Mexico, where Mr. Bilharz 
has interests.

…A marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. Koch by which Mr. Daniel 
Birkholz and Mrs. Wm. Miller, both of Reedsville, became man and wife. A 
charivari wound up the celebration, and now the three ministers of the gospel 
declare they will see to it that the Sunday lid will be shut and sealed on saloons

Notes From St. Nazianz:
On Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock the marriage of Miss Ida Breu to William 
Birkle was solemnized at St. Gregorie's church in the presence of a large 
gathering of relations and friends, Rev. Father Rogies officiating. The Misses 
Anna Breu and Mary Schuh, sister and cousin of the bride, were the bridesmaids. 
The groom was attended by William and Henry Arndt.
The bride wore a handsome gown of white lace over pale blue radium silk. She 
wore a long full veil of tulle caught with sprays of orange blossoms, and carried 
a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and bride's roses. The bridesmaids were 
gowned in light green mousseline elaborately trimmed in lace with white 
embroidered sashes and carried a shower bouquet of white sweet peas and maiden 
ferns. Little Cinderlla Breu, who acted as flower girl, wore a soft white silk with white 
bows.
After the ceremony an elaborate wedding breakfast was served at the home of the 
bride's parents to relatives only. The house was prettily decorated with a profusion 
of cut flowers and foliage. The color scheme in the dining room being carried out in 
green and white. Then followed an informal reception and dancing party at the 
Opera Hall.
The bride is a young lady who has always lived here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Michael Breu, and has a large circle of friends. The groom is a young man of scholarly 
attainments who ranks as one of the leading teachers of the county. For the past two 
years he has had charge of the public school of this place.
Mr. and Mrs. Birkle left Wednesday morning on their wedding trip to Milwaukee, 
Madison and various southern points, and upon their return will reside in St. Nazianz, 
where the groom is at present proprietor of a recently purchased creamery. The many 
friends of the happy young couple extend congratulations.

Andrew Bishop, a former resident of this city, but who 
of late years resided with his son, Frank Bishop of Sheboygan, 
died suddenly yesterday from heart failure. His son, Andrew 
and his son-in-law, George Knepfer were notified of his death 
by the telegraph and left this morning to bring his body here 
for burial in the family burial lot.

AUGUST BISHOP GETS SUMMONS
Native of Manitowoc Expires At Seymour Monday
August Bishop, 76, native of this county, died at his home at 
Seymour Monday. He is survived by 11 children, four of whom, 
Mrs. Elmer Thompson, Mrs. August Krueger, Mrs. Helen Miller, 
and Mrs. Harry Dill, reside in Manitowoc. The others are 
residents of Shawano and Appleton.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Bishop home at Seymour 
Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, and burial will take place 
at Appleton.
Mr. Bishop spent his boyhood here and was married in Manitowoc 
to Mary Bies 57 years ago. His wife passed away five years ago.
The Bishops remained in Manitowoc several years after their 
marriage, then established their home in Shawano county. A few 
weeks after Mr. Bishop went to Shawano county to clear space 
for a farm home in the dense forest, he was informed of the 
death of his young daughter. Because no other means of travel 
was available, he had to walk back to Manitowoc.

Mrs. Bleser, nee Mary Pankratz, a daughter of Michael Pankratz in Cato, married on 10 Oct. 
with Arthur Bleser, a son of Four Corners resident Wilhelm Bleser. The young couple promptly 
left on a honeymoon to the west where the young groom is employed as a mining engineer in 
Colorado. The honeymoon came to a sad end in Cripple Creek. The body of the young deceased 
will be brought here and laid to rest in Cato.

Kings Bridge and Arthur Bleser of Four Corners were united in marriage 
by County Judge Chloupek. The wedding was private, only members of the 
immediate families being in attendance. The bride is a gracious and cultivated 
young lade, deservedly popular among her wide acquaintanceship. The groom 
is a young man of talents, who after teaching school for years in the county was 
graduated from the engineering department of the State University. From those 
who know the young folks they will receive nothing but the best wishes.

Brewing Co. He is a capable and industrious young man. Mr. and Mrs. Bleser

local Lutheran Church by Pastor G. Vater, followed by a marriage celebration in 
the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Wenholz. The young couple will 
make their home here in our village where Mr. Blum has taken over his mother’s 
estate. He is employed by the local post office as a rural carrier.
