Photo Both have been true, loyal and highly regarded members of our church and the area for more than 50 years. Brother Kreimann has for many years held various positions in the church and is currently the beloved teacher. They have read  the "Christian Apostle" faithfully for the past 50 years. Brother and Sister Kreimann have many friends and are well-known in Town Schleswig where they have lived continuously for the past 50 years. They took on the pioneer life, and from the wilderness of virgin forest, they created a lovely farm, and after working hard and saving, they have reached retirement without any worries.  The marriage was blessed with 5 children of which all are living and able to attend the celebration. 74 guests were in attendance.  Music, song and speeches gave the party the proper celebration.  Also our district superintendant, Rev. J. A Jandre attended and gave a speech to match the occasion. The children gave their parents two matching leather upholstered chairs as a gift and the Women’s Club gave them a bouquet of 50 white carnations and the beautiful vase.  May the Lord bless them and provide a happy retirement. KRUMM: Chas. M. m: 05 Jun 1900 (co. mar. index v.7 p.102) to: Hattie E. Witt Miss Hattie Witt, daughter of Wilhelm Witt here, has become engaged (no mention of the future groom). Der Nord Westen, 08 June 1899 ******** WED AT HIGH NOON KRUMM-WITT. Two of Manitowoc's most popular young people to-day exchanged the vows of matrimonial fidelity and received the felicitations of admiring friends as they listened to the gentle words which fell softly on the threshold of their new career. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Witt, at High noon, their daughter, Miss Hattie, was given in marriage to Charles M. Krumm, Rev. Machmueller bestowing the nuptial blessing and only near relatives and a few of the more intimate friends of the contracting parties being in attendance. The bride was charming in a gown of white organdie with trimmings of real lace, and Miss Bessie Nelson, who acted as bridesmaid wore pink organdie and carried the bride's roses. Charles Heingartell was goomsman and with the groom wore the customary black. Immediately after the ceremony, a wedding repast was served and at 4 o'clock the bridal couple left for a trip south, to Chicago, Milwaukee and Oconomowoc. Upon their return they will be at home at 1012 Hamitlon street. Both Mr. Krumm and his bride are well known and universally esteemed and especially are they popular in the social circles of the city. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Witt and is a lovable young lady of sweet disposition and gracious manner, well fitted to grace her new position in life. The groom is a son of Mrs. Chas. Krumm, one of Manitowoc's youngest business men, progressive and possessing traits of character of sterling worth which have won for him the respect and admiration of his associates. Personally he is a man of admirable charcter and he and his fair bride deserve all the happiness the future can hold for them. The esteem in which the young people were held was evidence in a measure by the many beautiful presents which they received. Manitowoc Daily Herald, Tuesday, June 5, 1900 P. 1 ***** Charles Krumm and Hattie Witt, two well known young people, were married Tuesday at high noon, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. William Witt, North 9 street, the Rev. K. Machmiller performing the ceremony. Miss Bessie Nelson attended the bride and Charles Heingarten was groomsman. The bride wore white organdie with lace trimmings and the bridesmaid pink organdie. After the ceremony the bridal party, which included only a few relatives and intimate friends, was entertained at ta wedding luncheon. The couple left the same afternoon on a short trip to the southern portion of the state and Chicago. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Krumm will reside at 1012 Hamilton street. Mr. Krumm is a member of the firm of Schultz & Krumm and looks after the men's furnishing department of the business. He is second lieutenant of the Baensch Guards and a young man of excellent habits and a bright future. The bride is a graduate of the North side high school and has won a host of friends by her sunny disposition and charming personality. Manitowoc Pilot, Wis., Thursday, June 7, 1900 pg. 8
