The home was nicely decorated for the occasion. The wedding took place at St. Wendel's church at 6 o'clock Tuesday morning, Rev. Nickel tying the nuptial knot. The bride wore a pale blue silk dress and was attended by the groom's sister, Miss Kutz, while Nick Salm acted as best man. After the matrimonial services, the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride's parents, where a sumptuous wedding repast was served. The rest of the day was spent in dancing, music being furnished by the Nennig orchestra. Two hundred families received invitations and the celebration was one of the largest held around here in a long while.
