E. form and the solemn words were pronounced by Rev. R. Smith, of Gibson. The bride is highly spoken of as an amiable young lady, possessing the requisite qualities of mind and heart that go toward making a happy home. The groom is one of Manitowoc's popular young business men, well worthy of the prize he has drawn in the matrimonial lottery. He is engaged in the leather business at 837 S. 8th Street. Manitowoc Pilot, Wis., Thursday, June 14, 1900 pg. 5 ***** The wedding of Miss Mary Pruss and Mr. Wenzel Urbanek took place with great ceremony in the St. Boniface church, Tuesday morning of this week at 9 o'clock. The church was filled with friends of the couple, ladies making up more than three fourths of the audience. The altar was beautifully decorated with palms, spring flowers and choice hot house plants. The wedding party entered the church soon after 9 o'clock, the hour fixed for the ceremony and proceeded to the altar while the organ was played softly. The ceremony was performed by Father Peil. The bride looked lovely, as brides always do, in a costume of white silk poplin with short bridal veil held by a diamond ornament. She carried bride's roses. The bridesmaids were attired in white organdies with ribbon trimmings. Miss Lydia Pruss, sister of the bride was maid of honor and A.J. Torrison was best man. Miss Josephine Bleser was the other bridesmaid and Norman Knudson, groomsman. After the marriage vows were taken there was a nuptial mass as is the custom in the Catholic church. After the services the wedding party and a few intimate friends gathered at the home of the bride for the wedding breakfast. Mr. and Mrs. Urbanek left on the noon train for the south. The bride and groom have hosts of friends in the city.
